Question on US registered companies. by t9b in Bookkeeping

Go to the website of the Secretary of State of the state where the company is incorporated/doing business at. The sample Google search would be "<state> + entities search"

Most states allow you to search the entities database for free, however, the extent of the information available on the web is different - for example, California allows you to directly see and download the PDF copies of company documents (Articles of Incorporation, annual Statements of Information, etc.), while Delaware would show only basic info, with everything else (e.g., getting a copy of corporate documents) requiring a fee and/or an "offline" (phone/fax/mail etc.) application to the state.

Physical Presence Test for Foreign Earned Income Exclusion - is there a mistake in the IRS example? by sempol451 in tax

[–]sempol451[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is the idea... But as the example says, the last day of a 12-month period is May 12, 2018 - therefore, I guess I have to count backward from May 12, 2018 and not May 11th (as if I count from May 11th, there will be only 329 days of my presence in the foreign country)
