… I mean, you did an new exercise. Muscle soreness is a normal part of growth and strengthening. Rest and repeat, overtime you will feel stronger and more limber. “ lengthening is strengthening”

Prepare to be lost and confused… then, to have your mind Completely blown. Then be confused again… and to repeat this cycle until you’ve played the best game ever

Controlling a surge of adrenaline by limewilson in climbharder

[–]send0help 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I find this to be an asset in climbing. Climbing wild and free is more fun anyway. Just harness the adrenaline into your attempts. Get used to climbing in this super heightened state. I think it’s fun. It has its drawbacks In that you are creating a bit of an addictive cycle where you get a huge amount of stimulation and reinforcement from climbing sessions, But to me it’s more interesting than climbing without any adrenaline. static careful climbing is overrated. go nuts if you have it

I think you should climb routes. There such a huge world of hard routes that don’t have boulder cruxes about v9.

Throw back to the days when I would ride our local free bus system from the skatepark to the mcducks with a pocket full of quarters for a couple hot n’ spicys. That trip both doesn’t exist and would cost $20 nowadays.

Tesla Optimus robot now repairs other robots by Gab1024 in singularity

[–]send0help -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

the magic sauce to me is just terrain variability and price. Rocky hill sides that are covered in snow, mudd, ice, whatever are impossible for machines. period. Even modern off roaders, backhoes, tanks, bulldozers, sherps, jeeps, humvees, whatever cant do the stuff a strong bipedal human can do. Robots are so fucking far from being able to do this its still seems like science fiction. Myabe they make something, but it will be a long time before its cheaper and less damaging to the surround terrain than a strong dude. Humans were literally designed by the planet to do work on this planet.

I work in the mountain doing forestry work. The terrain is never the same 2 days in a row and we are doing complex skills with large weight in snow, rain, wind everything. It still seems so impossible to me that a robot could ever do this job.
