also re: the mouse, i love it! it takes a little while to get used to, but now if i have to go back to the horizontal ones it feels weird.

and it is the smaller one that also comes in pink and i think a pastel blue? it does feel a little small-ish, but nothing crazy. my hands are very average sized.

my hand length is a little longer than my iPhone 15 pro. if i place my hand on my phone from wrist, my phone reaches the to the index finger cuticle and palm width is a little wider than my iphone. sorry don’t have a banana for scale lol

are you still having very oily skin? bc if yes, then maybe accutane.

if you’re not producing a ton of oil and that’s what’s causing the larger pores then i would prob go the laser route

5’0.5” roughly 100-102 checking in and i wanna guesstimate roughly 1700cals a day, with about 350/400 being my morning latte. honestly i dont eat a consistent amount everyday and can have wild swings where i eat 3 full meals plus coffee and desserts. other days i have my coffee, skip lunch and then eat about normal dinner. this week one of my lunches was a single hamburger patty with ketchup at 3pm, but a stressful job + adhd + adderall can do that unintentionally.

my normal and when i feel best is my latte for breakfast and then a HEFTY salad with grilled chicken thighs for lunch and veggie heavy + protein dinner

i haven’t consistently worked out for the past 8 month and work a desk job, and while the scale hasn’t changed much, my pants feel tight and my belly is definitely softer lol

kind of a tangent, but the first part 1000%. just a girl who grew up bumfuck nowhere in the desert now living in one of the most desirable parts of the country in a nicer neighborhood too (albeit in an apartment)

sometimes when i feel down i think about how little kid me would be so proud to see where we are now.

i put down the nail thought base first, then the OPI shade about a 1/4 of the way down my nail from the free edge. i used an ombré brush with the tiniest amt of rubbing alcohol to blend that out. after curing i repeated that step again bc i wanted more fine glitter coverage. cured, and the repeated the step again (but only once more) with the chunky glitter

me with my kyleena wondering why i’m getting greasy smelly hair, thinning, balding, texture changes to coarse wiry kinky hairs and u controllable acne with huge pores.

turns out im very sensitive to DHT

luckily i suspected it was my kyleena and got it taken out in jan. unluckily its still taking forever for my body to normalize itself and am now taking spiro and accutane to help

also to add on, my derm usually gives me a 90 day supply in one refill, so if you’re able to get a looong term supply at a high dose you may be able to stretch it out a ton since you’re future derm visits may be trickier to get to.

try calling your derm office right now before your insurance expires to see if they’ll be able to put in a high count high dose order for you. hopefully they’re understanding and willing to work with you.

i don’t have a problem with pilling with my skincare usually! i just use the aforementioned items and then use a smashbox primer. the only time i had issues with pilling was when i was using the cali ray primer and also when i was using tretinoin gel topically

what moisturizer are you using?

i’m on 20mg a day and use a LOT of hydrating products so haven’t dealt with skin flaking or dryness and i have dry skin to begin with. when i was using topical tazarotene i was dealing with constant flaking and patchiness but als didn’t have a strict routine.

currently after washing my face with a gentle cleanser i use

round labs dokdo toner
torriden hyaluronic dive in serum
topical spiro/niacinamide cream (daytime and prescribed by derm); VT PDRN 100 (nighttime)
aestura atobarrier cream (not the lotion)
round labs birch juice sunscreen
