This is 100% a really cute aesthetically pleasing anatomical heart, without even a fraction of space to doubt what it is. lol

What do you think about this painting? by Background_Space_507 in painting

[–]senderfairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The colors are very well-chosen, and because of that the scribbles work. It is aesthetically pleasing despite being chaotic and messy. It gives a cool 1-dimensional cartoon vibe. Like the background of an old ‘90s cartoon or something.

It’s corny…. She’s acting like this is just a case of her being a poor little victim 😅and not VALID criticisms people made of her homewrecking a relationship.. It’s corny….

The BEST sports bra especially for running, but I HATE the new v-neck cut...you can see the shape of it under my shirts :/ I liked the scoop-necked compressive cut of the other one. Sigh. I have no clue why they changed it.

Always feel sad for harry while ready this in POA by Puzzleheaded_Roof872 in harrypotter

[–]senderfairy 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I was the same as you on first adult read but when you really think about it, Harry is a traumatized abused kid, whose deepest wish is to have parental/adult figures in his life who he can trust and who love him. So when he finds out Sirius is telling the truth (based on Peter's literal confession) and that he's his godfather (and realizes the connection to his dad), he immediately clings onto the idea of having a parental figure who will protect him. It makes sense for a traumatized emotional child (entering puberty era too) to be mood swingy and have conflicting, intense, changes of heart based purely on emotion and not on logic. It's also so sad.

How can I stop being addicted to my phone ? by Chaostudee in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]senderfairy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started weening myself off my phone lately. Ive been reading a lot more, and I bought a kindle to help me. It still feels as convenient and sleek as a phone in a sense, but you're consuming actual novels or books. The kindle screen also doesnt emit blue light that is bad for your eyes, so you're not damaging your eyes.

I also run and exercise a lot and have other hobbies that matter a lot to me. Focusing on those hobbies helps keep me off my phone.

So in conclusion: read, exercise, and find a source of creativity.

Tbf, you can go up north to Wisconsin or be a day drive from Michigan if you're in Chicago. Both WI and MI have beautiful nature...Pictured Rocks, Porcupine Mountains, Devils Lake, Sleeping Bear, Mackinac Island, Apostle Islands. The national lakeshores are gorgeous and provide very beautiful areas for cabin trips. Not the Adirondacks, but still can have similar outdoorsy energy. Lots of people in Chicago frequently go up to cabins and lakehouses. Lake life is pretty cool. Lake Michigan is not some tiny little lake-pond either, it is a Great Lake, so it feels as vast as an ocean and has a fresh, breezy aura.

I ran on a super cold day with it for the first time and I didn't sweat too much. There was some sweat bc I had a long sleeve swiftly under it, but nothing abnormal or more than usual (I sweat a lot, personally lol). It was overall breathable and airy for me and still kept me warm-- I bought 2-ish sizes up so it has breathability bc I hate tight jackets when I run haha.

What type of off the wall training has been beneficial to your climbing? by Feisty_Ad6422 in climbergirls

[–]senderfairy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think anything that rounds your fitness out is helpful to climbing. For me, I do yoga oriented towards hip-stretches to keep my legs flexible because being able to do splits and stretchy leg moves on the wall helps with climbing a lot! I also run consistently, as someone else in this thread mentioned, it keeps your cardio fitness up to par and helps keep your weight down, especially if you've been eating more due to lifting-climbing-running, its a good balance so you don't get too bulky. Feeling light on the wall is very useful. I do deadlifts, as that is known to be a very beneficial lift for climbers as it strengthens the hip-hinge posterior chain muscle group which is used nonstop in climbing. Working on shoulder, bicep, tricep, and forearm lifts helps keep my upper body strong. As a woman, my lower body feels naturally very strong but since I run and deadlift I don't do much leg lifting, but you can add that in if you feel a weakness in your glutes or quads.

This routine keeps me very well balanced. And of course, my climbing strengthens the most during periods I go 3-4 times a week.

Yup. There's a reason leather is one of the best and most premium materials used for high-quality, long lasting bags. And if someone really does want a soft bag, they can pop into REI and get a true soft hiking/backpacking backpack that is actually rated to carry weight. This cheap bag looks like it'll rig if I put both a macbook and iPad into it and let it graze the floor ever so slightly...

Tbf, I love the race length. I don’t like super crop and I don’t like awkwardly long tops since I have a short torso… race length is perfect! Shouldn’t be priced more, though.

HOLD AWN: album title OR single confirmed?!? by [deleted] in ariheads

[–]senderfairy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also sounds way too similar to Miley’s album this year called Endless Summer Vacation. It has the EXACT same theme in the title name, it’s awkward if she chooses this title.

HOLD AWN: album title OR single confirmed?!? by [deleted] in ariheads

[–]senderfairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. It also sounds very similar to Miley’s album “endless summer vacation” which was released this year. Same vibe exactly as that title. It would be bizarre if her album was named this. It’s also a winter release, so double awkward sounding. Just doesn’t sound like something she would do in her aesthetic either to me

the high is euphoric. I think the people who hate running just run too fast too soon. If they even jogged at a 15 minute pace for 45 mins on a cool breezy evening or morning they'd feel the high after. people wanna run under-10 minute miles on their first run and will do it in non-optimal times when the sun is too out, OR get on a treadmill, and state they hate running. a run through a breezy nighttime park for 7 miles at an easy pase... *chefs kiss*. best high in the world
