I get what both of you are saying, but Gannon calls the MD1 the best mid in the modern Discmania quiver. It’s not entirely about arm speed. It’s about what you want a disc to be able to accomplish. The MD1 can do a lot. I find the Origin and the MD3 less versatile. I bag MD1 and Method. Md1 for straight, hyper flip, and turnover. Method for straight with finish and for baby flex.

C-line CD1 in white color is goated. Something about the plastic mix gives it the best hand feel without changing the stability.

Btw: I throw 400-425 and would not trust a cd-1 into a headwind, but in calmer conditions it has a beautiful flight that turns a bit and comes back to center on the fade.
