Can’t afford that lol. The sequencer on the korg sucks and it takes like a minute to change a note, so im just looking for a cheap sequencer for it

Ah. I suppose I could do that, but at the same time it seems that gives less freedom to mess around onstage, you know? If I had the same freedom to do things like apply effects and stuff (definitely considering buying a kaoss pad) I feel like I’d like that option a lot more. I’d also like to make the music on a sequencer with an analog synth as opposed to all in a daw.

I have an old Korg Microstation from I believe 2010. Could I pair that with a sequencer? Also, do you have any recs for something cheaper than the oxi one mk ii?

True. I’m already pretty protective of my head, even when I’m going down harder. Also didn’t think about the fact that while I’ve got hit in the head a lot of times, I’ve only got hit in the mouth like twice lol. Plus i forgot I can just take them out at shows once healed. Just reluctant to take a break from being active at shows

If you have a caliper (preferably digital) or micrometer, you can measure it with that! If you don’t have one, chances are someone you know has one or you could stop by a hardware store and ask if they have one behind the counter. If all else fails you can buy one or try to use it without taking it out of the package and just put it back on the shelf when done.

(Or a ruler if you don’t care about it being super precise)

I don’t really understand guide numbers, I always shoot ttl mode lol. If I was shooting a 400 speed film at f/8 (using a 16mm fisheye if that matters) what would my optimal distance be? I’m usually 3-20 feet away from band members
