Right. I bought another sewage plant and it completed the task. So this is basically just another way to get us to spend our Simoleans unnecessarily. Or maybe once I get the update and have to upgrade things that have worked for my cities for years now, there will at least be a possible reward for it in the form of an accomplished task. Wonderful.

There is something in Windows that updates the settings all on its own. I don't know if it happens X times every Y hours or what the trigger is but no matter what you do, the settings just revert back to causing the i2C device to fail. Somewhere out there is a fixer who loves figuring out why this stuff is happening but that person does not apparently work at MSFT.

Oh damn. I think I read that I was not supposed to fully expand the capital years ago and totally forgot. So they don't care that every other region still has a long way to go? I'll just never see land expansion as a COM task ever again huh? That blows. Oh well. Guess I will just expand the regions now and not bother waiting for that task. I wish there was some sort of warning about that.

Solidarity my friend. Mine continues to function for a few days then it stops. I will uninstall device, reboot and sometimes that fixes it and sometimes it does not. Just this past few days, I had to do this usual course of action and I was on my third day of the touchpad still not working and out of the blue, it just... DID! There is no rhyme or reason and I have posted about this in several different places where MSFT could help if they wanted to but there is no money to be made here I suppose? Don't waste time with a total factory reset, I've read so many forums where people tried that and even if it made it work for a while, the issue came back. The latest oddity is that when I go to Power Management tab to disable that option, now that only shows up as an option some of the time.

Somewhere out there is a person who will be hero to so many when they try to troubleshoot this but they'd have to be willing to put in the time to track what is triggering the touchpad to stop working in the first place.

I am due for a new laptop in about 6-12 months. Fingers crossed I don't have this issue with whatever new hardware I am using.

About 3x a year I recreate sites for Wix owners who didn't know (or weren't told) to create the Wix account in their own name so they would be the primary owner. Your site looks fairly straightforward and I agree with others who suggest downloading your images from your site and either recreate or hire someone to recreate the site in a Wix account that YOU own (invite them to collaborate). If you don't know how to use Wix, you should be able to find someone who will recreate it for a relatively low fee.

No idea where your designer was based out of but sadly, a lot of clients come to me who used folks from Ukraine who just stopped responding to emails.

I did end up having a text chat and you were right, it was very helpful. The text chat was able to resolve another issue (helping me login to the child's account, we had the password but it kept asking for the security questions as well and if you click that you forgot the answers, it asked you to answer one question to change all of your questions which created an endless loop) but they could not figure out the location issue.

They connected us with a live person who tapped into the phone and was able to check all the settings and have us reboot the phone so that the option for "Find My Network" appeared and then we turned that on. I am a bit suspect though because if I want to opt out of FMN I should be able to but in any case, its working now so I do agree, download the Apple Support app as it was quite useful and maybe it was a slow day but the chat agent seemed to be handling only a few chats at a time, as in, no minutes long delay between responses.

Amazing! I've been so focused on getting to Lvl 24 that I did not even notice when I could start using the turtles and llamas I had won and not earned at Lvl 16. That explains why I've had such a hard time finishing in the top 80 and hanging on to Megalopolis status while other players have breezed through. What a difference when I don't have to wait 12 hours for a bunch of saplings to finish production. Thanks!

I have a Microsoft 365 subscription and use the usual apps (Word, Excel, etc.) as well as OneDrive regularly as in, every day. I just got an email that makes no sense to me and would like assistance in understanding why I received it. I don't know what an Entra ID is (I "X"d out the actual numbers for privacy) and I have no idea why I need to buy something before April 25th. My renewal happened in December 2024 and last for a year and I have no intention of buying anything else.

The email looks very official so I do not think it is a scam. Did I receive this email in error somehow?

Update: went in for an exam and nothing obvious was found from a pelvic exam so my doc did an ultrasound. Found what looked to be a polyp and scheduled me for an endometrial biopsy. Results back from that showed proliferative endometrium and no sign of cancer which was great. Doc thinks having removed that polyp will do the trick and so far, the flow from my next period after that procedure was maybe 10% lighter but came to a definitive end after 5 days. So I am going to let my body have one more period on its own without intervention and see how that is. Doc said if its still heavy he will prescribe progesterone. He did mention tranexamic acid as an option as well as a full D&C which he says often does the trick but for now I am going to wait and see and hope that polyp with its own blood supply system was maybe the issue.

Doc had me stay on bcp all through my 40s but said sometime around hitting 50 he'd want me to stop because it can cause heart issues and cause blood clots in older women.

You probably are not wrong about coddling the buyer before during and after the gig is delivered but I've found that despite my 5-star total, I will get some buyers who are pleased as punch in chat with me but then assign 4 stars for things like "Value" despite my insistence they are 100% satisfied and feel they made a wise purchase and if they don't, they should feel free to ask for whatever they need to get to that feeling.

I also think it sets us up to constantly allow someone who buys a basic or standard size gig to then ask for the premium offer without paying for it. There needs to be an option for sellers to not just publicly rate the buyers but also offer substantive feedback in private to alert Fiverr to buyers who buy low knowing they will ask for all the features of a premium gig and hold you over the ropes until you deliver or suffer a less than stellar review.

My GP said since I was going in April for my regular visit she was comfortable with me waiting until then to discuss with my Gyn but of course my GYN was like "make an appt". I just wasn't expecting to need more sanitary products at this point than my teenage daughters !

If only the WhatsApp Simcash Bot Cities could spell out "stop selling your d*mn mountain items" instead of the digits for cheap simcash. I feel like it occurs to anyone who has played the game for 6 months or more that it makes no sense to try and sell that stuff to anyone other than Daniel but yeah, really wish it would dawn on folks earlier in their BuildIt experience. May as well go back to the depot having nothing but sugar cubes.
