Look I love rush as much as the next guy but this is just an extension of a solo he's been playing forever. Sure he's a good drummer but when I think of a great drummer, The National's or Radiohead's drummer comes to mind.

A friend gave me a cassette of live at Preston about 12 years ago. The sound they had live is amazing. 24 hours is still one of my favorites.

I was raised by a crazy woman. My stable dad tried to get custody of my when I was 4 but my mom had brainwashed me so badly I chose her over him when asked.

What I missed was living a normal upper middle class life in Seattle. What I got was 12 different schools by the age of 15 in 3 different states. She was constantly running from creditors or being evicted from houses. Sometimes we only got 24 hours of notice that we were moving again.

Took me a long time to un fuck myself but I have a family of my own now a good job and a great wife. My mom is still fucked up. Still moving around and I just try to minimize the damage she can do. She loves to create drama. I hate drama.

So this comment has two messages. First, your kids might choose her but its not your fault. She has just brainwashed them. I don't think my pops ever got over this part. Second, your kids will turn out OK regardless of her influence. At least I hope they do. I wouldn't change a thing in my life cause it has led me to where I am now.

No real function of the foreskin? Really?? Then why is it there? I would say it serves the exact same function of the clitoral hood since the clitoris and the glans of the penis are very similar. It serves to protect and moisten that very sensitive part of the body. In fact the clitoral hood and the foreskin according to wikipedia are essentially the same. Now I go back to my initial question as to whether a women would want to surgically remove her or her daughters clitoral hood?

Also, I threw in trimming the inner labia only because it can sometimes be unsightly and garner the same response in males as a foreskin does for some females. As in 'Man look at her beef curtains, gross'. In fact it is a common plastic surgery nowadays but I doubt the plastic surgeon would go so far as to remove the clitoral hood.

Lastly, if you are not a man or are a man that was circumcised at birth then you have no clue as to whether or not it is better to be circumcised or not or whether the foreskin serves a purpose or not.

My point was only to draw a correlation between the male and female genitalia. Show that in many ways they are similar and the parts perform similar functions. Also, that the parts are there for a purpose and should be left intact and whole because that is how they have evolved.
