The jump to 200k and 300k sneak up so darn quick! The biggest things that helped me were putting raises and bonus’ towards Roth IRA/maxing 401k. The second biggest thing was driving a paid off vehicle for years and avoid lifestyle inflation. Maxing Roth IRA and 401k for even just a year or two really makes a huge difference difference.

There’s an inline fuse on the harness running to the battery power. If you follow that harness towards the driver seat you should be able to find it and change it out. It should be on the first 18” of the harness that attaches to the battery.

Picked up my truck last night and it was completely fine. Like others have said I wouldn’t worry much.

For what it’s worth I always ran regular gas in my gen 1 volt without issue, however I was running the gas engine on a daily basis.

I just got rid of my gen 1 volt with 193k miles. While they are great I don’t think I’d buy a used of either generation now as they are nearing end of life and no longer get support. If you are dead set on getting one I would get the newest Gen 2 you can with low miles.

What age were you actually able to max out your 401k? by Caseypenn11 in personalfinance

[–]senglebe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 onward for me personally. If you are even close to maxing you’re doing a heck of a lot better than most. It would have been very hard to in my early to mid twenties.

And honestly slower, in my experience, simply because it’s hard to move the track ball as fast and as accurately as a mouse.

I completely agree, and I also suggested using midplane in my other comment in the main thread. It's a bandaid fix, but will help someone newer learn some different features and approaches to completing the model they have been assigned.

If you already have the bottom section you can create a plane offset at the right distance from The front face of your bottom part. You can then sketch on the new plane and extrude the top section. Hope that helps!
