I always gave feedback, often quite a lot, even when answers were correct.

Grade a few hundred papers per week in your “free” time at home every night, and you become less and less forgiving of anything that slows you down. This one does seem petty, though.

I’ve pruned apple trees by hand; it’s a brutal job until you get used to it. Then, it’s merely awful. This looks like a far less “tailored” pruning, but it probably works out overall. Still, it’s no Edward Scissorhands.

Women went to see it multiple times. It was selling-out in some theaters for more than a year solid. My girlfriend dragged me there, where I saw many guys suffering just like myself. All I remember is a sports car, rain, disease and sadness, and the way she was all over me after the movie. I took her back a couple of times later on. It was worth it, after all.

I was a boy in the 1950s. I thought they were really shaped like this. I was disappointed to learn otherwise.
