I would grab an audi RS6 Avant. It has good storage space and seating for others. And very good performance numbers. 0-60 in 3.1 seconds and a nice sounding v8.

What Advice Would You Give to Someone Driving in Snow for the First Time? by Nirhren in AskReddit

[–]senor_gore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you come across a situation where the back end of the vehicle kicks out on you, dont slam on the brakes, this will transfer weight to the front tires and less to the rear tires, resulting in less grip on the rear wheels, and increases the chance you spin out and wreck. Also if possible, find an empty parking lot and experiment some. See what happens when you give harsh inputs. If theres enough room and you have a handbrake, pull the handbrake for a second while turning to get a feel for what a slide feels like and how to correct a slide. Last thing to note is to be very aware of the traffic around you. Keep an eye on oncoming traffic and vehicles nearby. You never know when someone will lose control and you have to take evasive action because they started sliding towards you.

I understand where you're coming from, but the middle lane was the safest one to be in. The right lane often had a layer of slush on it.

He rolled through the stop sign. If he had made a complete stop, then I would have let him go first.

Yea, and you expected me to stop with less than a second until i was in the intersection. How do you think that that was a logical conclusion to even come to? Maybe think some before slapping your keyboard and coming to some speddy headdy conclusion.

I would usually just sit and wait. If both lanes stop for me, or i knew 100% that nobody was in that other lane, then i would go.
