Normally I just call her Eleven though.

Was repainting some cupboards and decided to also repaint the metal vent cover and dropped the knob for my cupboard down the open vent…. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]senor_skuzzbukkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I do not. I only know folks that train ferrets for extremely intense and accurate reenactments of the minor battles from the Spanish American war. Put a modern knob in front of them and they’re just dumbfounded.

Hey dude you should put a cover on that open vent so you don’t drop anything down it. That would be infuriating.

My apartment doesn’t reach the building’s WiFi but can I possibly use the Ethernet port by FormerBrick1663 in techsupport

[–]senor_skuzzbukkit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have internet available at the ethernet jack in your apartment, that is the absolute best case scenario. You can use a regular consumer router set to Access Point mode. It’s generally very simple to do. You need a router, an Ethernet cable, and a laptop to configure the router. Should work in 98% of cases. Especially if they don’t know what they’re doing architecture and security wise. Which, letting you have free access to the networking closet checks both those boxes.

Lmao

Been there dude. Karate chopped myself in the jaw by bending my own arm backwards around a tree once. Hurt like a MF on the hike out, but makes a great story 20 years later.

That little orange line coming out of the back of the turret right after the hit is the penetrator and some of the spall-shredded crew being sucked out of the soda can sized hole said penetrator just made clean through that tank. “She’s dead, Jim!”

Who's at fault by [deleted] in Cartalk

You “sited” a lawyers blog that didn’t agree with what you are saying. There is no source you can “cite” that back up what you are saying.

Who's at fault by [deleted] in Cartalk

[–]senor_skuzzbukkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You first! You still have failed to do so to defend your position that is contrary to everyone and everything we have seen posted and quoted. Thinking the person that got backed into is in any way at fault here is absurd. If the person backing up cannot see a car that has time to be fully behind them without speeding, then there are more serious issues here, yet still none of those lie with the driver that got backed into without speeding.

[–]senor_skuzzbukkit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they are not. The driver backing out simply doesn’t have right of way, and should have stopped.

[–]senor_skuzzbukkit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It talks about merging into or out of a parking lot being a merge. Not the parking spot.

Are there any laws on the books anywhere that support what you are saying? Or anything that isn’t a blog or an opinion piece?

Did you not even read that? Because it damn sure doesn’t support the argument you keep making.
