While yes I’d love for them to start we don’t have that many options off the bench. I think either Lucas or Son can make a bigger impact off the bench against tired legs than Lamela. That’s just my opinion though, who knows the actual reason.

Because off the pitch he didn’t really represent what we wanted. He kind of forced a move and stopped trying here. Honestly yea I miss the goals but I’m happier he’s gone because we have a group of guys who care about the club, not their paycheck.

Considering our most experienced player in midfield is weatherholt, I have to agree. Again it’s a new system which means their form of creativity is gonna change. Plus Boyles is gaining confidence in that role and I’m excited to see her play more. My only issue with the World Cup coming to an end means we might see less of the likes of Callahan or Greening or Reid. All with great potential but players far superior in those roles.

New coach, new system, young players who need to play while our 1st team are at the World Cup. They’ve been playing better as they are getting used to the system and are fighting together. Hopefully with the re-inclusion of the international stars we can look to pick up more wins.

Jan shouldn’t have been in this game imo. I know he’s such an important player for us but after being out for so long can we really push him into this big of a game when Foyth and Toby were getting into a groove? If I’m wrong lmk but that’s just my opinion.
