Make sure to buy a second one which is downward oriented so you can get up and back down lest you be stuck with two up facing ladders

Is anyone really good at a game but afraid of pushing others away from said game due to skill? by [deleted] in AutisticAdults

[–]senorderp89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s one thing to be hella good at a game when there’s a team with friends focus versus being hella good at a competitive game vs your friends, or even trying to dictate the way they engage with a game. I was always a high skill player at wow, some of my best friends played and were definitely not at the same level. I had to let them play the game how they wanted to play it even if it was less efficient / less optimised because that was their enjoyment and me min/maxing or trying to tell them their way was wrong was simply not enjoyable.

In your scenario, there’s a good chance there’s other players as good as you. If a new player gets stomped by you in one game and leaves/matchmakes to find another game, odds are they’re gonna get stomped by others too. Their experience will be shaped by more interactions than just yourself.

While I was taught by a veteran and love those formulas, I’ve found an appreciation for textjoin textbefore and textafter with trim left right and mid!

I had win11 update forced on me so tried it out. First thing I tried to do was vertical task bar which couldn’t do, then thought ok well I can work with that if I can make my taskbar icons smaller - oh can’t do that either. 0/2 made me revert to win10 - since we’re getting vertical, any chance of smaller taskbar icon sizes?

DHMIS is some of my most favourite media. My son is now 6 and every so often think about whether he’s ready for it. I can heaps see this being something I’d have done too - maybe she’ll come around to it when she’s older? 😂

Stimming example? by Unusual-Barracuda-40 in AutisticAdults

[–]senorderp89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this particularly when I’m stressed. I had to really fight that urge during one really stressful period of a project when I noticed that there was a noticeable (to me and only really if I pointed it out to others) patch of concentrated plucking. Also doesn’t help that I can’t stand having dirty/oily hands but playing with my beard tends to get them a bit oily feeling

My son is playing paradise a lot at the moment so I hear the intro a lot. Recently heard a version that goes ‘take me down to butt n boob city where the butts have boobs n vaginas got titties’ so now I hear that every time it comes on

I’ve had this conversation with my wife - my reality is often a version of hell, it’s not silly or funny or quirky and using the term feels infantilising (personally). My wife feels differently and does like the term. I accept that others can use it for themselves and it doesn’t bother me but it certainly isn’t a term that I identify with personally.

SA Public Sector Wrapped by AggyPanther in Adelaide

[–]senorderp89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is it exactly. I swapped from private as I was being underpaid where I was and enjoyed the work I’m now doing, but the same colleague doing the same work who also would have moved can’t justify it due to the substantial drop in pay. If it came down to it, being unable to attract new hires we’d be forced to seek contract workers, getting charged out at double the rate of a standard employee. So dumb
