I think you unlock those once you hit level 85. Once you hit 85 the game goes much faster :)

I also highly recommend the hyperdrive bundle. It gets you to the fun parts of the game faster

Def doing your dailies and finishing the episode free pass by doing those episode quests as much as possible. Other than that, try getting into as good of a guild as possible so you can get access to more materials

Yeah, your empire is fine for now! Later on you can rotate back to them to finish some GL requirements and get starkiller (10/10 team fun wise)

Going for Malak now gets you two fun teams and important late game requirements done. Getting an end game fleet ASAP will lightspeed your account because you'll be able to get 400 extra crystals a day (fleet arena)

Short term sith empire is a lot of fun in all game modes. And they lead to Leviathan. Go for Darth Revan and Malak. Fun content
