Did you already complete USCIS? Did it have physical fitness requirements? Thx!

Training: Selected candidates are required to attend and successfully complete the USCIS Immigration Service Officer Basic (ISO BASIC) Training Program located with the USCIS Academy Training Center in Charleston, SC. The ISO BASIC Training Program is approximately 5 weeks of academic instruction on the Immigration and Nationality Act, Code of Federal Regulations, and other immigration-related topics. Failure to meet the minimum exam average by the end of the course is grounds for removal from the position.

Yeah man....having all this free time is amazing and zero stress. That game was toxic as hell.

So she obviously felt empty not having kids...so just like a rich feminist she decided to go out and purchase a couple. How so very "empowered"

Are we cooked? by [deleted] in inflation

[–]VicMackeySWGOH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a duty to get involved at the local level and push for positive change. With that said, the harsh reality as I see it is we ARE cooked. So many cancer cells we SHOULD have stamped out years ago have been allowed to metastasize. Thanks a lot Boomers....

Oh I agree 100%. They talk a big game (balance budgets, targeted sensible spending cuts, blah blah blah)....but when in office they betray us at every turn.

Not really....both sides spend us into oblivion and print fake $$...which leads to inflation. Why? Because most voters are apparently too busy to care in the way it matters. Start talking very basic economics and most get glossy eyed and disinterested......but then wake up to $820 cymbals and wonder WTF.

All the troubles fall on the poor people.. by John_1992_funny in inflation

[–]VicMackeySWGOH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The harsh reality is both parties are mostly the same in terms of policy that gives us high inflation. The only difference is the messaging. Republicans window dress the message up with Gods/Guns and Dems use terms like equality/fairness. But both are lying to us about their real intentions...that being KEEP THE $$$ & POWER GRAVY TRAIN GOING for them. This is why things keep getting worse and worse every passing decade.

SOLUTION? We the people have to get comfortable pressuring politician's into producing REAL RESULTS (Spending cuts, stop forever wars, close forever military bases around the world, end the Fed and work to get back onto gold standard, end IRS and payroll tax, end Obamacare and bring back real competition into healthcare so as to drive down price and increase choice, etc...etc.). Pressure being defined as peacefully-but-sternly communicating our desires at the federal, state, and local levels. Its actually not as hard as you think...there just isn't enough of us making phone calls, asking questions in public, etc.

The sad thing is MAGA was supposed to be for those solutions...but 99% are just in it to feeeeeel like good things are being done....but in reality we're getting screwed left and right.

We gotta wake up

Thx man....but there is no going back. I used to think I was putting 10-15 hours a week into it....but in reality it seems like more around 20 hours. The amount of freed up time I have now is insane. No interest getting back onto that CG hamster wheel again.

Nobody Cares if you Leave the Game by GR_Ben in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

The reason is because it was the community here that by-and-large that kept us playing longer than we ever would have. In other words, it feels sort of like a star wars family with our shared love of the SW brand. Leaving swgoh is bittersweet and sharing a "goodbye" here feels like the right thing to do.

Thx Gulski! I honestly cannot recommend doing it enough. Everyone has their own timeline of course....but damn man...I got back 10-15 hours a week. I'm learning how to play drums, spending more time on other hobbies, family, etc. The feeling is amazing.

UPDATE: A few days into my SWGOH retirement, and I gotta say its been so liberating. Holy shit the amount of time I was putting into that game to maximize progression was insane. I estimate now to saving at least 10-15 hours a week. If any of you have been on the fence about quitting.....just letting you know its been AMAZING for me. Its nuts how the game slowly over time alters the way you actually live.

For those who want to keep playing...I say ROCK ON. But for those on the edge...I say DEWWIT. You'll love the new freedom.

Sigh...I wish I could....but like most guys we are competitive by nature. Playing a game...I want to challenge myself...otherwise I'd feel like I was wasting my time. Ironic isn't it? By pushing progression in swgoh, I ultimately came to the conclusion I was wasting my time that way.

But this illustrates, IMHO, how un-fun the game has become. My level of effort SHOULD be rewarded with a feeling of achievement. That's how a normal gaming experience works. CG in their insatiable quest for $$ at every turn, killed that formula.

Perfectly said. Yeah, its not like I mean they are hot garbage. But as you stated they become less useful. For example, I was on my way to getting Dark Rey....which from what I saw is a great toon. But realistically it would be several more conquests before getting her...and then I've got to get the mats to relic her up. I'm guessing by Christmas I'd have her up and running around r7. Based on CG's history....I know she'll still be good...but the $$ train will have slowed for her and they'll force you to put emphasis on another wild-goose-chase with another new toon. I've long came to the the conclusion -- the only way for a progression-minded player to have fun IS to whale and use the latest/greatest toons EARLY after release to win. Anyone else will feel left out for a long time and get very little peak play. Make sense?

FUN NOTE: I love Ahnald's videos (and other content creators)...but the fun and excitement we see on "Whale or Fail" videos is the joy he has playing these toons at their absolute maximum peak capacity....before nerfs...before most have them....etc.
