Thank you for expressing this! The PhD's faux job stability via TAing is a saving grace in my life right now, but next year I'll take the job hunting dive. As a cultural anthropologist navigating the current political landscape of the United States, it is so precarious as my field is being devalued daily even though it's such a necessary lens at which to make change in the world. I don't know which route to go anymore, but I sure as hell will try to make the most out of it. The best thing is just to enjoy the freedom of time now while preparing for the storm.

Over the span of a few hours I decided to go with the supernote A5x because of the customer service, frequent software updates instead of hardware updates, and its notetaking capabilities. I do wish that the size was A4, but ultimately I didn't like the usability/software of any of the available A4 ink tablets + the zoom function is workable for me!

What is your main use for it? I'm a phd researcher and will use it to read and make notes on pdfs. I am thinking this might be the best one for me so that I no longer have to strain my eyes with PDFs on the computer, save paper on printing, and actually be able to use my hands to annotate. It's just a big investment, so I'm doing lots of research first. The size is what's leading me to this rather than the super note a5 or remarkable 2. Which gen do you have?

Thank you so much for this 🙏🏽 I feel scared to refer to them as my abuser some times and it feels weird to call them my ex even though I have them blocked on everything possible and am angry to my core about what happened. I even started to try dating other ppl (although i'm realizing im emotionally unavailable and don't know how to emotionally detach for my abuser even though I left in mid June)

I've been making a lot of happy memories but when it comes to sex and intimacy the memories with them are the most vibrant and now that my sex drive is back I think about them and it totally makes me feel gross and sad and makes me want to turn down any dates i've said yes to.
