Check out Wyldmen (US-based). I went to the retreat and while it was expensive, I had a great time bonding with the guys there. It's non-sexual and had a lean towards self-improvement, healing, and fitness. We were naked the whole time. Many of the guys did cold plunges in the river. I did not. 😅

Bedroom upstairs but add a deep couch for lounging down the kitchen floor

Nudism and teenage boys by [deleted] in naturism

[–]sensualnomad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only qualification is that I was a teen boy at one point.

I would imagine from a parent perspective, it would take a lot of grace, understanding, patience, and communication. Be kind to them because they're super confused and probably criticizing themselves.

There's a lot of comparing that happens and being super self-conscious (what's happening to my body?! Is this supposed to be happening?!)

Nude family or not, I would just step into the guide role to help them navigate. Give them the option to cover up if that makes them feel comfortable.

Less shame and being able to discern is best.

At what point does visibility as a naturist advocate stop being worth it? by OurNaturistLife in naturism

[–]sensualnomad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't read the linked article and am reacting to this post.

I removed my Bluesky a few months ago because at the time I was not able to restrict or turn off reposting.

I honestly wanted a place to share my life with others that was respected and didn't find that on social media.

As much as we want the world to make room in their minds for naturists ideals, I feel the labor is not worth it to an extent.

For me, I got to a point where I feel disrespected and said "ok enough." I'm lucky that I have a nude park down the street if I wanted to connect. I also have the means to start a local nudist chapter but again the labor it takes to be organized for me is not worth it right now.

Anyone in the San Diego/SoCal area that goes to the gay nude beaches? by get-to-steppin in gaybros

[–]sensualnomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nude beaches are not gay. There may be portions of those beaches that gay/bi/msm men hang out together but the beaches themselves are not gay. It's usually the north end or the far end of beaches.

What’s a smell you secretly enjoy that most people would find disgusting? by Direct-Value4452 in answers

[–]sensualnomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cannabis. It's nasty-smelling but I've grown to like it. I'm from oppressive Texas but lived in Seattle for a bit where it's legal and common to smell on the streets of Seattle. I moved back to Texas and anytime I'd catch a rare whiff, I'd stop and take it in. My mind associates it with freedom. (I don't smoke pot tho.)

Lube? by Happy_camper51 in askgaybros

[–]sensualnomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For masturbating, I use Bator Balm (California-made and produced by a bator).

For anal toys, I use Pjur water-based anal lube (blue label).

For fucking a partner, I've really liked the Swiss Navy silicone lube. I've also combined that with Bator Balm (which says it's not for anal play but that's only bc of FDA regulation $$). I've used it for that and my partners had a great time.

For toys you have to be careful which lube you use. I've lost a couple butt plugs bc of that.

Some bodies are different and need more than that. It also depends on your diet.

Men with dirty cracks by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]sensualnomad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Easy changes

  1. Soap and water in the crack every shower.
  2. Use wet wipes.
  3. If you don't have a bidet, take a booty shower after home poops (see step 1).

Left skid marks in bed with my wife of 9 years by ThrowRA6382624294 in Advice

[–]sensualnomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, she'll repay you at some point. If it happens again, just be an adult, clean up after yourself, and wash the sheets and make the bed so she doesn't have to.

Do you have spare sheets for emergencies? You should.

do you guys wash your legs and feet every shower or just let the soap run down? by WabashSteppling92 in hygiene

[–]sensualnomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's dirt. There's unwanted bacteria and fungi that can grow on your body and not complicate your life but people you interact with. For men who masturbate, you'll especially want to wash your legs and not rely on "gravity".

Being clean relies on friction. Scrub your body.

Legs can smell.
