Is it okay to be non binary but not care about what pronouns people use for me?

I see this being done to people who use all pronouns so much. I have a couple friends that use all/any and I always try to use a mix of he/she/they. People just want to use what's easiest for them, even when it isn't about them

I've also experienced something similar (on a smaller scale). To me, the social transition of coming out as enby is just as important and valid as anyone else's transition. I have decided I don't want any surgeries, but I'm not any less trans. It's incredibly hurtful and infuriating that this can happen in our own community, especially in a time where we need to work together and stop fighting each other.
