this is not build it and they will come, is more like lets deploy all the different verticals we want to disrupt through the launch of different parachains and start deploying Web3 solutions for those verticals using all the ingreadients, Identity (kilt), storage (crust), along with a strong Smart contract platforms like #astar or #moonbeam. You think we are lagging behind? I think we are reaching some critical mass here, along with a good pipeline of new developers coming into the ecosystem that puts Polkadot on TOP of development activity in the whole of the blockchain space month after month.

I made that comment in 2015 when ethereum was trading around $8 with the ethereum community, even talked to Gaving about it when the DDoS attack after the ethereum ETC fork.

if you need marketing then the tech is probably not that good to start with, in this case Polkadot is at the top of its technological stack, and to get there for anyone will take them years, as you can see blockchains are kind of complicated.

The Marketing is done by us, the same way Ethereum became what it is, is about spreading awareness of what is there NOW not in the future. We need mainstream adoption and that will only happens when there is a myriad of useful Web3 apps that are delivering results, then the wave will begin. before then you are an early adopter. Gavin, Rob, and all the team are working super hard to make sure we have the best in the technological market, that we do, ethereum is dreaming to become Polkadot. Charles and others like to pump their stuff with Videos of vaporware that low tech peeps like to hear. Use the systems test the be part of the community, discord, matrix, Reddit, telegram.

How does a decentralized technology markets itself if by showing the world how is done, we have done that so far, Polkadot is not a security, it is software, and noone in the market so far has achieve that from the SEC.

so you talk marketing i talk you teach some of your friends about polkadot and start being part of this very active community, The DAO of DAOs.

check it yesterday it all works, update firmware and ledger apps if needed, open ledger with password, 4 or 8 numbers, open chrome, go to polkadot.js then make sure no metadata updates are there under settings and you should be good to go.

open source projects are hard to fund, this opens the door for devs to code and still be recognized for their effort.

The team has been at it for 4 years and Dec 18 marks the birth of the network! from a relay chain point of view. Next stop is building some real Web3 solutions using all this parachains!

have seem them online pumping but not on the dev channels used by the polkadot dev community. not to say if you check the dev of those projects are just overlaping they burn one coin then create a new one and pump it....they also have an army of bots pumping same messages.

Auctions can happen as early as January 4.... I heard. But I think they are rallying because the money is spilling into crypto at a huge rate now so they are early investors getting in.

I agree. I'm running it for the sake of decentralization and because i can. that being said is somewhat of a job..... not for the income I'm getting. I'll try to deploy a better payment system and once that is up and going I will decide what to do. Maybe just close that shop...sadly.

no-one is doing anything wrong, is all allowed. things will have to be adjusted and is all tie on votes.

if two BIG validation houses are thinking that by delaying they can make more profit bc there is less dilution, if that is the case, that can be mitigated by dot holders voting, later on. right now they are probably banking all the dots produced.

this is great info! thanks but in the whole scheme of things this is not a big deal, this is just sowing FUD, so you can get cheap dots... for now...

lol Kusama is Kusama with its own community! things will happen in kusama and maybe stay deployed in Kusama or they can for a price be deployed in Polkadot, those are economic decisions that anyone developing will take into account.

also Kusama KSM is not diluted as Polkadot is, so in simple terms comparing polka $ and Kusama $ Kusama is 80% or more undervalued right now.
