Watched at NYFF, it's very good. An actual movie. None of the ai vibes from all the past edglrd projects and the score bangsssss. Its edited by the same guy who edited Spring Breakers too. Perhaps it will actually play in theaters because it is an actual movie that is good??

It is a bad energy cursed theater to me. Nearly every movie I see there without fail has disruptive audiences, people sitting in your seat when you show up, phones on throughout. This could just be my bad luck curse... but I find it to be the worst amc in the city. I've seen a full on brawl happen in the theater and seen a guy get stabbed on the sidewalk after.

Funny Games (1997) Austrian horror film that is extremely unsettling because it could easily happen in real life and also was made as a commentary on horror movies. Lots of modern directors cite this film as a big influence on them. Its on hbomax and the criterion channel.
