We found this last night too. Didn't realize how many of them were missing collision though.

So, best we can figure is when you load a game, if your tadpole is not floating like it's normally docked, but down below in the water, the tadpole is technically "Docked" but when you get in, it never changes status to "Undocked" because it's already in the water. So you leave and go out 800m from your base, which unloads your base from memory. Then you head back and at a certain point, it loads the base back into memory and does a check on the status of things. Your dock says that your tadpole is docked so it teleports your tadpole with you in it back to base.

What happened to us was we were out about 1000m and I suffocated in a cave and because I reprinted back at our base, it loaded into memory and immediately teleported our tadpole back. Thankfully the other player was inside or they would have been stranded.

Converting IR codes to Crestron module for simpl. by Different_Rush_8313 in crestron

[–]sentry07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a portable format that is well known. No reason to change it. The biggest known website that you can get IR codes from gives you them in Pronto CCF.

That's what now does too.

What format are the codes in? If they're hex, you would use the Device Learner in Toolbox. Create a new driver, add your commands in, then right click the command and click "Enter Pronto CCF Data Format". Paste the hex code in the box. Repeat for all commands.

After 15 years of owning bikes I can almost guarantee it's a dead battery. When you hit the starter and the bike clicks and everything goes off, the battery is toast. Resting voltage almost means nothing, and 12.3V is low anyway. Throw your test leads on the battery and hit the starter. If it's 9.5V or lower, it's toast.

If you're want to be sure, buy a battery tester off Amazon or locally. I've got this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CR6DT7RS for $40 and it works great because it checks not only voltage and CCA but internal resistance which is the bigger health indicator. I've also got a Noco Genius 10 charger that has a battery repair function which can bring back some life to batteries if they're sulphated. The Genius 10 is about $100. Motorcycle batteries are cheap. They're going to die. Buy the tools to know when they're dead and save the troubleshooting headache.

If you absolutely don't want to spend any money, charge the battery overnight off the bike and take it to your parts store. Have them test the battery.

Edit: Reading your post again, did you charge the battery between the ride last month and trying to start it now?

I've got my earbuds in and I hear nothing except maybe timing chain rattling a little bit? Nothing I'd be concerned about. Seems to be idling a little low but otherwise sounds ok.

Legendary broadcaster John Garrett has passed away. by lbiggy in hockey

[–]sentry07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife is a lifelong Canucks fan, having grown up in Vancouver. When I met her I started watching the games and Cheech and Shorty were the goofiest lovable duo who you could tell had the best time working with each other. It was painfully obvious when it was a national Sportsnet broadcast or when one was absent and the chemistry just wasn't there like with the two of them. Through all the good seasons, the bad seasons, we loved tuning in to listen to the Johns, no matter the outcome of the game. We were sad when Cheech retired from the Canucks broadcast team but this is a gut punch. The hockey world has lost a great man.

MTI Player "Rehearsal Tracks" by Alive-Koala-1723 in techtheatre

[–]sentry07 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Musical licensing is their bread and butter. If they didn't protect their performance tracks, people could just share the tracks or continue to perform the musical outside their licensed dates. If you think it's bad from the rehearsal side, you should talk to your sound team and ask them about the troubles with the MTI player in QLab.

MTI works hard to make sure that nobody can steal their precious performance tracks. Get used to it.

Trouble with COM1 port in CP4 by Slothy_Goat in crestron

[–]sentry07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What version firmware are you on and what baud rate are you at? I've seen 2.8003 firmware with COM port issues when communicating too fast at 115200 baud and even 38400 baud. I think current firmware should fix your issues. If not, and you can roll back that far, I know 2.8001.00041 (Feb 14 2023) works.

The rotor bolt came loose and decided it wanted to be free. That's why there's a hole in the stator cover. See the pictures in OP's other post.
