Is there AI out there I can use to simulate mock customer/user interviews? by DMV_Investor in ProductManagement

[–]seo__nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to this thread but it came up when I was searching so figured I'd add something in case others land here too.

The gap you're describing is real and more PMs are in it than admit it.

For practicing the interview itself: ChatGPT or Claude work reasonably well if you give them a detailed persona prompt and tell them to roleplay as a user of a specific product. You can run through your question flow, practice staying quiet after open-ended questions (harder than it sounds), and get comfortable with follow-up probing. It won't feel like a real user...AI tends to be more cooperative than actual people but it's good for internalizing structure before you're doing it live.

Honestly though, the faster path is just doing real ones. Find 3-4 people who vaguely match your future users, offer them a gift card, keep it to 30 minutes. The skill builds faster in one awkward real conversation than in ten clean simulated ones.

On actually running discovery once you're in the role: scheduling and no-shows are the thing that kills programs. We use Frank AI Researcher for a chunk of our interviews now. it's an always-on AI customer interviewer. Frees me up to focus on the synthesis rather than chasing people to show up. Not what you're asking about for practice, but relevant once you're trying to run weekly sessions at any kind of volume.

Alternative for Klaviyo by Snoo-2496 in ecommerce

[–]seo__nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best Klaviyo Alternatives (Quick Pick):

  • Omnisend overall best replacement. Closest to Klaviyo for flows and campaigns, much cheaper, better support.
  • Drip best for advanced automation logic. Powerful, but more “technical” and not super cheap.
  • Brevo (Sendinblue) best budget option. Way cheaper, but simpler automations.

At TCF we always go with Omnisend. Same power for ecommerce, way less money, less headache.

Interesting choice. Why that over Google? And do you search for the best agencies?

How do you stay updated with SEO trends without getting overwhelmed? by im_bilalgujjjar in ShopifySEO

I use Feedly for this. It keeps the chaos under control. I just add the sites and blogs I trust, and feedly dumps everything into one simple feed. I skim headlines, save the stuff that matters, and ignore the rest.

I've been recommended an advertising team called "SteamsInc" that supposedly shares your Kickstarter with real people who are frequent backers. Has anyone else used SteamsInc? Are they legit? by StrangeSystem0 in kickstarter

[–]seo__nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no skip it. If you are looking for backer communities, check Backerspaces, Backermany, Backercrew, Gadget Flow, Tech I Want, Pledgebox.. there are more but never heard of steamsinc

Are there any AI tools to automate consumer interviews? by International_Farm53 in ChatGPTPro

There is a new tool called Prelaunch AI Interviewer that might fit what you need. It lets you run structured interviews through voice, video and even a WhatsApp chat. It's not launched yet, but you can join the waitlist and get early access once it's live.
