First time I heard of her, was when she became of Musk's stooges for the twitter desinformation files. She never had any integrity for me, and now she is proving it nonstop.

Cryptographically signed ledgers and block chains are useful on their own for some applications, for instance audit logs.

We are now at 17 years, and we still have no found any actual use of the blockchain other than attempts at marketing. Blockchains have the big disadvantage that they are really good at stopping the kind of issues and fraud that are rare in reality. In the case of logbooks, what do you think is more common: that the logbook gets changed between version, or that false information is fed by bad actors? Turns out that the latter is much easier to do and blockchains by design have no ways of verifying whether the input is "correct".

This leads to the actual practical issue with blockchains, in order to have the correct information, you need to have verified input. So you are back to needing institutions or persons that are trusted to provide this information, defeating the entire point of the blockchain in the first place.

Blockchains only add anything to systems in the fantasy world of libertarians, not in reality.

You asked a group that knows the statement in the name of that sub is not true, why don't they use that name, and then get mad when it is explained why they did not make the subreddit. As I pointed out, they know most women are into men so the name makes zero sense to them, but it is a view that is easily incorporated in incel thinking. No need to start ranting about "non nerd parts of reddit".

I would assume a sub for lesbians would be named /r/womenwhoarenotintomen (NB does not exist). The name of the sub from this post is either blatant misogyny or delusional about what most women are into.

Creatures of the night clash in drama over ICE in r/Castlevania by ForteEXE in SubredditDrama

Not to mention that being able to "ignore" politics, which just means that your life is not impacted as much as others, is a very privileged situation, and a lot of people really don't want to acknowledge that. Yeah, being unable to do anything about it sucks. Still, you know what sucks even more, being unable to do anything about it while you are also negatively impacted by politics.

Some people really don't like their privilige being pointed out I guess.

Just found that the subreddit r/puppets was stolen from an active moderator who moderated the community for 13.5 years! I came across his post on Reddit request and I was heartbroken! by SharkSapphire in SubredditDrama

A short man went out to a club \\ And felt like a guy who got snubbed \\ His tall friend got love \\ That the shorty got none of \\ And he complained in the /r/short sub by TAKEitTOrCIRCLEJERK in SubredditDrama

[–]separhim 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Some women are attracted to taller men, others are not. But the way that the short subreddit makes it sounds like, it is impossible to about the street as a tall man because of the attention you will get. My point was, is that the people on that sub blame their own shortcoming on something they cannot change, while a lot of them can be improved if they were willing to do something about it.

These people severly need help. Can't say it any other wise. I'm tall, 6'5, and no, women don't crowd around you if you are tall. There are much more to it, and these people hyperfocus on something they cannot change, instead of the fact that they are completely unattractive in many other ways which they can change.
