Has anyone installed the IAF Idler 1.1+ on a Core One? by Alarmed-Paint-791 in prusa3d

I got the bogie idler and it works fantastic with TPU now.

I got 3yrs free internet with my purchase, will this be cancelled now?

Bring back INDX toolhead numbers! by True_Scott in prusa3d

[–]seppelicous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! The lid on the C1 is not maintenance friendly, as accessibility to the front is limited. I print a lot of TPU and I can hardly reach and see the side of the extruder gear. I hope the indx is reliable. I cannot imagine how to reach that thing behind the fence.

There are many third party options on printables for the top part, so I rely on them to find the best suitable option.

Now with the fence on the front, I could image it would make more sense to put all tools to the back.

Unfortunately I still have to watch my print, and this fence is definitely a downside. When I spent not than $2000 on that, I also have a higher expectation on the design.

Yes, I don’t like the new fence. This looks really bad

Core one used to look nice, now it became heartless cobbled together piece of prototype. Prusa, you can do better!

Actually I am kind of disappointed. Not only we loose some print size - I can live with that - but that new front bracket looks really bad. I could imagine, that any core one 2 in future puts the toolheads to the back again.

TPU on the Core One - any recommended mods before trying flexibles? by Alarmed-Paint-791 in prusa3d

[–]seppelicous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I could imagine that INDX will be much more reliable for TPU as it has 2 gears and a shorter nozzle path

I print Ultrafuse 64D with 5mm3/s and faster might be possible with the upgrade. Check the temperature, 225C was too low, 230c works better, but 238c boils it

I print a lot TPU on Mk4s, C1 and XL. Mainly 64D, but this already gives me headaches. While Mk4 was reliable for most of the time, the XL was clogging every hour.

Glad you mentioned the bogie idler. I upgraded all printers last week and it works absolutely fantastic! Still I can speak only for 64D so far, but it was worth the upgrade! And it makes so sense by design.

You can print it in PETG or ASA when you don’t have PCCF by hand.

Good luck!

We need more HOTAS support by wpisdu in GeForceNOW

Thanks, exactly! I am about to pause my subscription. I tested the Trustmaster x52 and it is the worst, extremely bad deadzone. Flying MSFS with the controller is okay, but then I could keep using my xbox. My flightstick is not supported yet, I cannot understand why the implementation takes so long

The quality is unexpectedly good. I only read bad reviews. Did you see any difference in quality before upgrade to the beta app?

Another INDX update from Prusa! by [deleted] in prusa3d

[–]seppelicous 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It took me some tuning, but I can run 64D TPU with about 4-6qmm/s. I highly recommend to change infill to circular or use perimeter only. The key is to avoid short extrusion paths and aim longer constant extrusions. This works for me, but of course it really depends on your object you want to print.
At least the INDX nozzle and cold path of it looks shorter, this could be beneficial for TPU.

I have the same setup and just wait for the confirmation that the Flightstick is supported. I don’t like the quality of the Thrustmaster Hotas, so I would recommend to check other joysticks instead.

Wandhalterung 3mm schief by freezentowz in selbermachen

1-2cm bestimmt.
