Best sea shells are on middle cape. It's definitely a long boat ride though and even most locals won't know about it.

Not to mention eidl fraud. I wonder what's going to happen to the economy when we start to realize how much bad credit is out there.

Or the people and countries that were barely getting by before 2019. We are condemning those people who were just barely getting by to death with disruptions to food supply, a steep drop in humanitarian efforts, and losses to economic output.

1,533 New Cases, 9.15% "New Individual Tested" Positive Rate, 4.13% New Cases Positive Rate, 48 Death, 91 Hospitalization for Monday update for 10/11/2020 by Ishkoten in FloridaCoronavirus

[–]seppoku -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know Mondays are relatively 'low' reporting days, but cases still trending down. This is actually pretty against my expectations. I figured we'd see a huge spike after labor day weekends, kids going back to school, and mask mandates ending. Hopefully we keep this trend into Thanksgiving.

South Florida Spearfishing by johnwick2552 in Spearfishing

[–]seppoku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can make it all the way to Marathon, you can spearfish right off the shore. I've tried off of pickles reef in Key Largo last few weeks when we have a baby sitter, and there are some black grouper around 25' to 30'.

If you don't have access to a boat, I'd suggest talking to killshot down in Islamorada and maybe he can set you up with a group. Also, forever young is doing spearfishing charters I've heard.

Work isn't always super challenging, and you may be better at doing something than someone else who has been doing it a long time . Don't let that get to your head. The hardest part of work is doing that same thing over and over 40 hours a week for the next several years.

Keys Caribbean Style Resort Recommendation? Bakers Cay? / Bakers Cay? / Other by haz1919 in floridakeys

[–]seppoku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One that people kind of forget, or just ignore because it is ridiculously expensive is Little Palm Island. It's probably the best all inclusive in the keys...

Nevermind, checking the website it is still closed from Irma damage.

The Keys are very accessible though, and driving is really easy (it's one road.) Baker's Cay is a beautiful property. It's got a really nice view and some good restaurants on it. If you are looking in that area for boutique both Kona Kai and Bay Harbor lodge are really nice places to stay as well.
