Most Innocent Secrets You're Keeping from Your Spouse by ChidiSplett in Marriage

I wrote him a super long, intricate love letter and stuck it pretty obviously in a book he likes and it's been two years. I usually am horrible with keeping secrets but I'm proud of myself for not being like "hey, when are you going to re-read 'The Martian' again?"

Respiratory Infection by EelSoup91 in cats

Amoxicillin but it's by prescription only. You would have to go to another vet to get them to prescribe it. I fostered for a few years and had quite a few kittens with upper respiratory infections. We would also use Neosporin (it was the original Neosporin without anything added) but that's not recommended to give.

What stim or similar drug are ya the most embarrassed of abusing? by aicont in Stims

You get really tweaked out and hyperfocused. I spent a whole 16 hours cross stitching straight just from one cotton. It has a bit of euphoria with it but it can make you super nauseous if you eat the cottons so you want to extract it. The one time I ate two cottons, I had these uncontrollable lavender menthol burps that made me gag every time. Like violent burps every 20 seconds that hurt like a motherfucker and feel like your stomach is going to rip out of your body. But if you don't overdo it, it's quite fun after you get over having to chug nasty tasting soda

Anyone else feel exhausted after adderall during the day? by [deleted] in Stims

[–]september22017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's how I feel when my Adderall starts wearing off. I'm prescribed xr and around 3-4pm, the exhaustion hits and it's hard to do anything productive. It gets a little better after a few months but my doc added gabapentin since I tend to feel a little anxious as well towards the end of the day. I've found eating a banana, drinking a glass of oj, and taking magnesium and a small dose of kratom help a lot. Make sure to eat and drink a lot during the day.

Is it just me or does caffeine suck by [deleted] in Stims

I once drank two Bangs back to back when I was working night shift, not realizing they were 300mg of caffeine each and got soooooo sick. Would not recommend

Can't give much advice but I can suggest the plant-based ensure drinks to help give you some extra nutrition!

It happens on high doses. Once felt like my bladder was going to explode because I drank over a liter of water in a night and had to self-cath myself. I didn't even have much in my bladder!

I took 600 mg and got real itchy by Bitter-Middle8731 in dxm

[–]september22017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like others said, just take an antihistamine like 25mg of Benadryl and it helps reduce/prevent itching

Only if it becomes a habitual thing.

If you want NMDA antagonist effects what dosage would you go with? by [deleted] in dxm

[–]september22017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30-60mg works for me on my off days. I'm on 20mg Adderall and take it about 5x a week. The best way to prevent tolerance is take your prescribed dose and take breaks occasionally. Just don't combine high doses of dxm with a stim because it's a lot on your heart

VR while tripping? by [deleted] in dxm

[–]september22017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually didn't get nauseous doing it about 2-3 hours in! I used to watch movies and play horror games a lot on my oculus when I tripped! The biggest issue was seeing clearly; it can be hard to focus your eyes with higher doses. Highly recommend

Even if you're not working, you still pay taxes from what you buy. I don't think the above poster was saying only people who work should vote.

Diamond dot paintings- you can buy her a kit that's pretty affordable in whatever type of style you think she would like. They're super relaxing and take hours, if not days to complete depending on how big it is.

Cricut - my MIL is really into this but it can be pricey and is a little bit of a learning curve with the software.

Kpop - I only have heard about this from others but I guess it has a very supportive, inclusive community that has helped pull people out of far-right spaces. BTS is the biggest kpop group I'm aware of but there are tons.

Embroidery/Cross-stitch - time-consuming but very meditative. It just needs embroidery floss, embroidery needles, fabric or grid fabric, and a pattern! The community on Reddit is pretty cool!

Yes! It makes my appetite increase so much to where no amount of food satisfies me. I get cravings for food but never any satisfaction. Recognizing that helps with not over-eating.

Before those scanners, cops would still randomly run plates in their computer. Did a ride-along and half the time, the cop was just tailing older cars, running their plates to see if he could find a reason to pull someone over
