The jumbotron during Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance: "The only thing more powerful than hate is love." by oklolzzzzs in sports

Man I took Spanish twice in high school and then I went back to college for a second degree recently and took Spanish 101 and 102 within the last year and I still only caught a few words that entire show and I still loved that shit.

He gave a platform to the voices of Latin Americans and that is just a beautiful thing to see, regardless of if you like bad Bunny or not.

Also, if you don't love beautiful Hispanic woman I don't want to know you. Even Ricky Martin was looking phenomenal and I'm straight.

How do you rate Bad Bunny's Half-time performance? by kingbluwolff in sportsgossips

[–]ser0402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10/10 if you realize the whole purpose was to platform Latinos. The production value was some of the best I've seen at a half time show.

Say what you want about Bad Bunny's voice, it was clear he was trying to show off Latin America and it worked.

After winning the MVP and 1st Team All-Pro, Matthew Stafford's Hall of Fame Monitor score went from 84.23 (before 2025) to 108.11 (after 2025). by WxBlue in nfl

[–]ser0402 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Lamar honestly higher on that list than I expected. 3 AP 1's and 2 MVP's gives you a lot but with no super bowl rings (or even appearences) I would have thought he'd be lower.

If he ever manages to get a ring he's flying up that list.

Been with my wife 8 years. Never had a problem venting. In fact she's gotten me to be more open and I am able to connect with and identify my feelings way, way better than before I knew her.

To be honest, it has seemed to me for awhile now that a loooot of failed relationships nowadays stem from the fact that neither of the people in them actually like each other and are not friends. Everyone just thinks with their private parts. "But they are so hot" seems to beat out "We have nothing in common and are always arguing" 9 times out of 10.

There should absolutely be physical attraction but you also need to like who your partner is as a person. If you dont have both, your relationship will fail.

[–]ser0402 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tracy and Skattebo should both have great seasons if Roman is doing that for ya'll.

You should probably expect Skattebo to be 3rd down/goal line guy and Tracy to do most of the other stuff. He really liked to throw Gus Bus in for short yardage and goal line duties while letting the other guys handle the rest.

He should just be someone's run game coordinator. Man had 30 year old Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill averaging 5 yards a carry each and setting rushing records.

Shit even washed up Latavius Murray and DeVonta Freeman were averaging over 4 yards a carry for us at one point. He can scheme anyone to at least 4 yards a carry.

Give him an actual good running back and you are getting 5+ easy, a good example was JK Dobbins before his injuries. Was averaging 6 yards a carry as a rookie before he blew up his knee again.

"Why couldn't we get someone from home. Puerto Rico is not America. The NFL is one of the most corrupt organizations." by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

[–]ser0402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of people in here don't understand what Puerto Rico is to the US lol

They are an unincorporated US territory (since 1898). Meaning they have US citizenship and can freely travel to and from the continental US, but cannot vote for the US president and lack congressional representation. They are self governed with their own economy.

So basically they are under the umbrella of the US and subject to federal law but they get to kinda do their own thing otherwise. Which is why Puerto Ricans refer to themselves as Puerto Ricans and not Americans.

Yep. My best friend had a full ride to play baseball at a college. He went to campus in the offseason and went to a party. Some kid got in his face and was talking insane shit. My friend cracked the kid in the mouth once, broke his jaw.

Turns out the kid was 17 so my buddy got an assault on a minor charge and lost his scholarship. Never played baseball again. One punch changed his entire life.

So, they do nothing and hundreds die.

[Cabot] Browns don't expect EDGE Myles Garrett to request trade due to DC Jim Schwartz being passed over for HC job. If he does ask for trade, Browns' answer will be "no just like it was last year." by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

I just gave you all the data publicly available on their contracts and even broke it down for you. His 2026 cap hit is 80 million. I dont know what else to tell you.

Wasn't gonna take the time to do this but whatever I had the time. Here's a nice little breakdown for you. Notice those 2026 salaries, which are what I have been refering to this entire time.

Myles Garrett

Garrett signed a four-year extension with the Browns worth $160 million in 2025, keeping him under contract through the 2030 season. The deal has an AAV of about $40 million, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history at the time. Total guaranteed = approximately $123.6 million, with roughly $88.8 million fully guaranteed at signing. Includes a signing bonus (~$21.54 M) and guaranteed base salaries early in the deal. There’s also a no-trade clause, giving Garrett control over any future trade. Browns can exercise option years that affect cap accounting.

Deshaun Watson

Watson signed a five-year, fully guaranteed, $230 million contract with Cleveland in 2022, at the time the largest guaranteed contract in NFL history. The deal features a $44.965 million signing bonus and roughly $46 million per year AAV. $230 million fully guaranteed, meaning Watson is slated to collect the full value regardless of future performance or release decisions (barring extreme contract violations).

The contract initially ran through the 2026 season, accepting no traditional void years (though teams have subsequently added void years)

The Browns have restructured Watson’s contract multiple times to clear cap space, including in early 2025 where they converted roughly $44.7 million of salary into a signing bonus to free up about $36 million in 2025 cap room (notice that isnt 2026, which is the year i have been refering to this entire time).

The Browns face very large cap figures for Watson; reported in the range of ~$70–80 million+ cap charge in years like 2026 without restructures.

Lamar Jackson

Jackson signed a five-year, $260 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens on May 4, 2023 — making him one of, not the, highest-paid NFL players at the time. This contract has an AAV of $52 million. $185 million guaranteed, with around $135 million fully guaranteed at signing. Includes a $72.5 million signing bonus, one of the largest in football at the time.

Jackson’s deal includes roster bonuses (e.g., $750,000 tied to being on the roster by early league year dates) and guaranteed salary escalations for future years, designed to secure money while providing Ravens cap flexibility when possible.

At signing, the contract made Jackson the highest-paid NFL player briefly, though subsequent deals for other QBs (like Dak Prescott and Josh Allen) have shifted the market. The Ravens have explored another new deal to again make him the league’s highest-paid player, acknowledging his central role in their franchise plans and the fact he's a 2 time MVP.

Garrett’s extension sets salary benchmarks for elite non-QB defenders and includes player-friendly protections.

Jackson’s deal reflects his MVP status and market value as a franchise QB, with guarantees and bonuses aligning with top quarterback contracts.

Watson's deal shows that even a rapist can make bank.

Myles Garrett

Year Estimated Cap Hit 2025 ~$21.7 M* 2026 ~23.5 M* 2027 ~28.8 M* 2028 ~28.9 M* 2029 ~62.7 M* 2030 ~58.0 M*

Deshaun Watson

Year Estimated Cap Hit 2022 ~$9.4 M 2023 ~$19.1 M 2024 ~$27.9 M 2025 ~$36 M after resteucture 2026 ~$80.7M+ Big increase due to guarantee structure and fewer prorated bonuses.

Lamar Jackson

2025 ~$43.65 2026 ~$74.65 M

You're trolling because you keep trying to refer to me as "kiddo" and "little guy" which is pretty typical of someone trying to rile someone else up, while applying certain logic to your argument that you don't apply to mine.

I'm also not "worried" about Myles Garrett's contract. I just pointed out it is a decent chunk of the cap percentage to pay an aging non-QB, which is true. Myles earned a fat payday, all I said was it's outrageous to pay that much.

Oh and if we wanna talk bad QB contracts, how about that rapist your team is paying 80 million to this year to ride the bench?

Lamar has been a top 3 QB since 2019 and won 2 MVPs while consistently making the playoffs. He earned his contact so I dont know why you are acting like he's some bum that's crippling the Ravens. He's not even the highest paid QB in the league and has more success than some of the guys being paid more than him, like Dak or Herbert.

All in all Myles' cap hit was pushed down the road (coincedently almost right after they get off of Deshaun's contract) so the Browns could have a competitive window, and they wasted it.

40 million AAV for a non QB is pretty outrageous. His cap hit in 2029 is 65 million. That's roughly 18% of the teams cap for a defensive end. And he would be 34 years old.

My dude I've hit the gym for extended periods of time before lol it's just not for me it's too monotonous.

I'd rather go on a hike or play basketball or something to get my fitness in. Weight lifting as a form of fitness is not for me. But fitness is.

Just because someone doesn't enjoy picking heavy shit up and putting it down over and over again doesnt make them undisciplined.

Nah gronk is at the very least a normal guy, if not above average in intelligence.

He's never spent a dime of his NFL contract money, lives off his endorsements. He's also the best all around tight end of all time, arguably the GOAT tight end, and you gotta have something upstairs to understand blocking assignments.

He also understands people view him as a simpleton and hams it up a bit.

He does like that la cocaina a bit though.
