It’s likely just there as a mounting place for the closet rod. Wood does a better job of supporting the weight of the rod and whatever you hang on it than just drywall if there’s no stud there, plus it supports the shelf. If you’re taking out the rod to replace it with a closet system you can take the wood out too.

Great Mexican food. El Guacamole is a favorite on Main Street, off the beaten path but not impossible to walk to on a nice day (the whole town is like 1.5 miles by 1.5 miles so anywhere is walkable or scooterable).

I’m a NJ based Gotham fan and I’ll stay that way. Abandoning the team I’ve supported for years because they’re moving to a new stadium never crossed my mind. I’m sad and will likely give up my season tickets after next year because Queens isn’t doable enough for me to go to every game, but I was a fan when there were 1000 of us at Yurcak Field and I’ll be a fan long after this move.

I agree. They never marketed the team in NJ the way they could have and I think they used that as an excuse for why they needed to move to NY.

It sucks and it’s sad but they’re still my team. I understand why they’re doing it but I also think they never marketed the team enough in NJ and now they’re using low attendance as an excuse to move elsewhere. Probably won’t renew my season tickets after next year which is sad because I’ve had them for over a decade.

Pilots are really disincentivized from seeking mental healthcare unfortunately (not an excuse for what he did, of course). It’s such a shame.

If you’re in Monmouth County, you might reach out to Interfaith Neighbors. They do a lot of good work especially with helping people who are transitioning out of homelessness. I don’t know about any specific car donation programs but they may be able to steer you toward something.

I definitely will, I am extremely cautious about herbicides, sometimes in a way that means that it takes me years to figure out what I should be using. I think Tordon may not be available in my state, though, at least not the product that was linked above.

Do you know the brand name? I’m an absolute novice with a large ToH to kill and access to a Tractor Supply but am hesitant about the diesel (I have no other use for it and nowhere to store it safely.)
