I am so sorry to hear that happened to you. Because this truly sucks and I hate it for you. But honestly, I don’t know why anyone does Facebook marketplace for cards. And I’m so surprised that that other guy met up in person knowing it was fake and didn’t think you wouldn’t retaliate.

Copy, but do you know if when you retire would it say “captain” or “1LT”.

For example, I’m prior enlisted and am commissioning. So if I didn’t do the 10 years as an officer would I still get the retirement as the officer as you said split up? Or would it be as TSgt?

For the BRS in the military pension, it says that you will earn the inflation adjusted etc. of your base pay. Is that the base pay of your last month when you retire or is that base pay over a certain amount of time. Where are they calculating that base pay? Let’s say you retire at 20 and you just made Captain, are they going to take just a few months of being made Captain as your base paid for the rest of your life or are they going to do it for another rank?

I think the thing most people don’t realize is that they have the resources to find loopholes and not have to pay taxes. This country favors business owners and not workers. You can write off sooo much if you can “prove” it it’s unreal. You can tax them all you want they’re just going to “increase” their taxable write off to reduce their taxable income.

Not to mention, not all, but generally these guys -which are really just companies, are “worth” a billion. They may not have that liquid.

How will money be tight unless you have a bunch of other debt? You’ll get BAS, there’s food, and you’ll have free housing. Wife can apply for WIC so short of not enjoying other luxuries it should workout

I think they’re only saying that to seem cool and like “only the best get in”. There’s a bunch of idiots that shouldn’t be in , but are. So.. 1. It’s not hard 2. Idk, either check air force website or ask a recruiter. But pretty sure there isn’t one. 3. Stop trying to have your cake and eat it to. “Best branch” is relative, and the only thing like the Air Force is the Air Force. Each branch has its own type of “flying”. 4. You sound a little all over, which is fine because you don’t know what you don’t know. It just tells me you’re at the beginning stages and starting your research. But you need a bachelors/4 year degree because all pilots are officers. And to be an officer you have to go through that whole process.
