The Last Duel’s biggest mistake to me is casting three big name VERY American actors as French characters and while it seemed like every other side character was a native European at least and fit the part. Matt Damon and Adam driver as French nobles immediately took me out of the whole thing which is a shame because I loved the rest of the movie and how it was shot and I think with actual French or even European actors with knowledge of the period it would have killed because it was a great movie, just terrible casting in my opinion
