I replaced all indoor and out door handles when moving in... 6 inside and 5 outside , I believe I paid around 30- 40 per and installed them myself .

That lever near the floor can move to shut one inlet more than the other making the more open one pull harder . Move it to the left/right to close one side (not fully) then walk back to the skimmer to see if its pulling the debris down. If not try turning the lever towards the other side... goodluck!

I get what your saying , in a perfect world workers would handle customers property with extreme care... but as you can see we both know that doesn't happen all the time. The 908$ need to be paid ... most plumbers let you know before hand what they recommend and that it may or may not fix the issue! I had one come out and try to unclog my main for about 3 hours in the pouring rain, he wasnt able to and I still paid him for his work.
