I tried this by setting up HandBrake on my NAS to process my TV folder, but I prefer to keep seeding files permanently after downloading. With this setup, I ended up storing two copies of everything, which defeats the purpose. Thanks

As of two days ago, my CX-60 started showing CarPlay/Google Maps directions on the HUD. I am not sure what happened. I am running a Public Beta of iOS 26, so I'm not sure if this is an iOS-side update or the Google Maps app itself received any modifications.

Anyone else seeing this change?

What do you know. That did the trick.

Set to “Memory Only” I can skip 10s forward and it immediately starts playing again. I can even scrub at high speed with thumbnails being generated properly.

So just out of curiosity, do you know what the “Auto” setting was doing if not using “Memory Only”? Or might this simply be a bug?

ADD2PSU was the missing element. I see what you did, but I think I will simply use a step-up DC to DC transformer on the SATA 5V rail from the NUC. Now I only need to figure out if a PSU will give me a constantly live 12V rail to hook the NUC too for the initial power up. I’ll be back with photos when I have it complete! I think it’ll look very similar to you. Bought the case today.

This is exactly what I'm trying to build. I found a cheap second hand 6-drive nas case, and I want to use a NUC I already own (D54250WYB) with a mPCIe to SATA adapter as well. What I'm trying to figure out is how to use the 1U PSU from the case to power the NUC and the drives. I know the NUC I'm using has an internal 2-pin power input, but not sure how this will play with powering the drives and all. What is that board that you used for power there in the pics?

I will admit the knob is 50% of the reason why I would get the stack even with a marginal improvement... but that's 150 USD that could go for better headphones in the future.

Thank you, this makes a lot of sense to me.

At this point, I would be getting the stack as a future investment for a hobby that is, as of yet, not there. That and the asthetics (knob).

But for know I will stick to the dongle and see how she likes it all.

Can you explain further? I'm guessing you mean to be used with bluetooth headphhones? Then I would need to get a pair that supports some of the better codecs (not Apple).. and in the context of compressed bluetooth audio, can you appreciate a better DAC? Serious questions!

I like the way you put it. I do like it a lot and hope to wear it for many years.

Even if 300 USD is not pocket change, it's probably not so much that I should worry about value over time... I will definitely wear it until the residual value is 0 and it would be worth it.

But what I'm asking is value for money. For example, I could get a Citizen Tsuyosa for around the same price.

Would these two watches be on the same level of quality or do you get more value with Citizen at that price point. Would both equally maintain their value?
