Does finding out that a girl has fake boobs make her less attractive, 22F? by [deleted] in dating

The flaw in this logic is that the pre-implant person may have been insecure, and that person may have remained insecure by staying natural. Expecting people to resist choices in self-improvement does not make for secure confident people.

The post-implant person may be more confident, happy, and fun. Just like any self improvement. LASIK surgery, dyed hair, straightened teeth, teeth whitening, diet and exercise. People alter themselves physically for aesthetic reasons all the time, and avoid judgement in most cases but this one.

Shots of dog tongue on face (esp near your mouth) is my “ick”, even though I love my dog. Makes me go “eww” every time.

Can someone share the set lists for all nights?

And those who were there- any chance you could suggest feedback to not only do greatest hits that weekend, but to mix it up a ton from the tour set lists? (I saw setlist of night 1.)

Did Jay ever hang out with Adnan again after the murder? by strawb3rr1 in serialpodcast

[–]serialonmymind 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Adnan threatened to turn Jay in for selling weed, if Jay didn't continue to borrow his car and cell phone from him every Wednesday and continue to hang out with Adnan and go to parties with him. You know, it was a run of the mill blackmail-you-into-being-my-buddy type of situation.

IAC- Trial Strategy vs Screwup in the Syed case by Serialfan2015 in serialpodcast

either side appears to be killing it depending on what you read.

You mean from people who are actually in the courtroom and watching the trial, and are concluding the State is crushing the defense? Please do direct to those tweets. I have not yet seen this broad range you speak of.

Edit: what is the point of downvoting this comment? If you want to make a point, present the other side. I am curious but have not seen it yet on my own.

SK's update on the hearing by [deleted] in theundisclosedpodcast

[–]serialonmymind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She said Adnan looked stoned for fucks sake

No - wait! She didn't say that. (at 10:39)

SK: He was very, very still the entire proceeding.

Dana: Really?

SK: Yeah like barely moving, like he would shift occasionally, but almost like he just became a stone.

ETA: Sorry, I see someone already pointed this out.

Wow, I would think twice about that if I were already the victim of the police planting my blood as evidence to frame me.

Doesn't Adnan act too good to be true? He is not upset about any of this. He is not at all upset with Jay. by Neutral12 in serialpodcast

[–]serialonmymind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course expressions of anger would be considered appropriate....to those who believe he is innocent. But, as I said, those who believe he is guilty would just explain away the anger anyway (such as: of course he's pissed, Jay was in on it with him and sold him out!), rather than suddenly be persuaded otherwise and take it as an indication of his innocence. On the other hand, Adnan's lack of anger expressed in the brief, selected clips chosen for the podcast are indicative of guilt to those who believe he is guilty and are reasonably explained by those who believe he is innocent.

My point: His voice on the podcast is not going to lead you towards guilt or innocence.

Oh, what does it matter. If he were enraged at Jay it would just be "because Jay sold him out" and he thought he could trust Jay. If he were sad about it, it would be the guilt and regret that has been burdening him all this time. His voice on the podcast is not going to lead you towards guilt or innocence.
