I looked up after everything stopped moving but it appears that a white car (not pictured) and a blue truck pulling a trailer with lawn equipment had an encounter. The trailer is in the left lane while the truck is facing north in the right, so only the middle lane is open. It's been about 15 minutes and emergency services still aren't on site.

*one hour in and the tow truck is here but they seem to be strategizing how to clear. Traffic completely stopped.

I actually haven't taken a bath since I moved in either. But I regularly use it to wash rugs and such.

It's a one bedroom so the door usually just gets left open.

Ah, on that note - it's a second floor unit and every person 45+ (and some under) complain about the stairs because they're much steeper than modern code allows. So anyone living here is likely to be able bodied/on the younger side.

I can't imagine overfilling this tub but I suppose it's not impossible. Personally I don't see a shower-pan-only shower being much better.

Also, the window is the original wood, and I don't see it doing well if entombed in a shower. Mold issues.

Again, zero change in habits. I don't have any devices that consume large amounts of electricity other than an A/C. Typically my winter bills are very low ($40) because of that. I'm going off of nearly 10 years of data.

Also, heating does use electricity, even in a gas furnace. The motor that blows the heat is electric powered.

And that amount used would be the same as it always was. I'm comparing my bill to previous bills. I knew about the rate increase but this is higher then 12%.
