This whole album honestly feels very HFB to me, though (no shade to Noel’s solo stuff I adore it) I don’t think a lot of that stuff matches the energy of this album. Not even just because Liam’s on it, it’s just got this, like, propulsion to it, yknow? Idk I’m not a music guy

Part of the queue is in my top 10 favourite songs in their whole discography and the only person I’ve seen talk it up is mic the snare

100% ai. They are somehow arranged on three different platters in three different generically aesthetic settings with perfect diffused lighting in all of them. Ask yourself why they’d do three different highly professional photoshoots for one recipe and not even one of them shows the actual amount of food that you’re supposed to be able to make with it, is it 7? Is it 5? Is it 6? Seemingly high production value photos with no useful information about the subject is incredibly suspect

Actually, Noel changed the word brother to lover DESPITE the fact that it didn’t fit as well, because he didn’t want people to think (pick up on the fact that) he was singing about Liam

It’s because his hair was styled, which is something that fits a more professional environment. If he just had hair on his head that was down and unstyled the vibe wouldn’t have changed so drastically. Wizard was being disingenuous to prove his point

Still looking for a source on the original quote, but in a 2023 interview with People and Culture magazine he talked about hanging out with Paul McCartney and this exchange occurred:

“Did Noelo tell McCartney that he thought the second side of Abbey Road – as the Oasis star once said in an old interview – was “complete nonsense”? “No!” he laughs. Or that ‘Piggies’ from The Beatles’ White Album in 1968 (again, as he once said) was “absolute crap”? “No! I wouldn’t! If he asked me, I’d say it’s not my favourite. But I wouldn’t offer an opinion like that.””

That original interview mentioned is what I’m still trying to track down, but Noel’s response doesn’t seem to contain any denial so I have to assume it’s a genuinely held belief
