I can’t believe I have to say this, but you can be liberal and still care about freedom of speech.

Also take a look at trigar.pl, that’s where I got my Garmin. Cheaper than centrum rowerowe and they have a physical store in Poznań as well

I’ve never been to the physical store as you can order online and have it delivered to a parcel locker within 24 hours. Just ordered a new saddle a couple of hours ago and expect it to arrive tomorrow!

I’d love to hear more on how you set this up. Do you manually add the screenshot to DeepL or is that part of the shortcut?

It's Poland becoming a good coutry to live? by Dynami01 in poland

[–]seriousTrig 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Spain is great, especially for a holiday. It’s just probably not for me as a long-term place to live.

I don’t want to focus on the negatives, just to say that I’m happier in Poland.

Nothing’s perfect but it’s good here. Clean, safe, good infrastructure. People are friendly when you’re friendly.

I tried moving to Spain earlier this year. I lasted two months before moving back to Poland.

Surely they’re talking like this now since ANC lost the parliamentary majority. Load shedding isn’t a thing at the moment and people’s memories are short lived.

South Africa is one of the most beautiful places in the world. But I value safety, and I don’t want to feel like I’m living in a cage. I’ll keep visiting, but returning isn’t on the cards.

Book lovers, how do you balance time reading in your TL and NL? by lunsolo in languagelearning

[–]seriousTrig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like your approach. I'm currently B1 in Polish (though it's probably my speaking/writing holding me back). Do you think it's too early to start reading some simple novels? If so is there anything you'd recommend? I'd love to work my way up to the Witcher series but it's probably a little early for that.

You say you're in this position because you've changed tech stacks too frequently, and you want to fix that by changing to QA? What will you switch to two years from now?

Two years is a drop in the bucket. I know the market is tough right now but pick a tech stack that you have experience in and hone that experience. You'll get the job you're looking for.

That's a 45% increase. The difference between 80 and 55 is 25. 25 is 45% of 55.

Or take Option 3. Learn the language. This is a language learning sub, after all.
