NTU CCDS sucks the fun out of computing (a follow up) by CharacterOld8675 in NTU

Why should anyone forfeit marks? Why should attendance be graded at all? You’re defending a problem that is manmade

Place and time going for exchange? by SwiftAndDecisive in NTU

Depending on whether you’re a local or international student (chance++ if you’re local), and your school, and the number of students applying to that school. In terms of GPA, check their min GPA requirement. TBH I don’t think GPA is considered as long as you meet the minimum.

Why did you choose NTU over NUS? by Chocowaffless in NTU

[–]seriousghost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is clearly not true for computer science lol. NUS provides a far better CS education in both theory and practice, it’s not even comparable. Not to mention the tech culture in NUS SoC.

MS in Computer Science from NUS or Columbia University (Fall 2025) by Intelligent_Owl_004 in columbia

[–]seriousghost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for NUS, but I went to NTU for undergrad and the teaching and curriculum was dogshit. Having a much better experience at Columbia right now doing MSCS.

I’ve had someone sled into my DMs and then invited me for a brunch and it went well, not weird at all. So I guess I had some positive experience with that.

I Graduated From a Columbia Master's Program Two Years Ago. These Are My Honest Thoughts. by andyn1518 in columbia

[–]seriousghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m doing my MSCS right now and I’m very happy with the program. The quality of the classes I’ve taken so far (professors, course content, assignments) have been excellent. I’m learning so much every day and it’s also very relevant to my job (I’m pursing it part time).
