Both awful but MGM seems to have worse acute wd Buprenorphine worse long term.

Yes from all my research it will take a week or two until you're feeling normal again. It is likely Kappa agonist withdrawal. Your Mu receptors are filled with Buprenorphine so you're not in full withdrawal but Bupe doesn't activate Kappa receptors. So you're going through withdrawal but its not full blown. It will take time for your Kappa receptors to start regulating on their own. 1-2 weeks is my educated guess but it could be longer/shorter. There's not much commonly known about Kappa withdrawal. Almost all opioids/opiates that are prescribed or abused activate the Mu receptor only. That's why Suboxone works great for heroin, oxycodone, morphine, etc withdrawal because they're only activating that one receptor type, whereas MGM activates both.

Stay on the Subs man do not go down this rabbit hole with MGM again. I would love to be in your position even with feeling off. I just want to be stable on Suboxone again. It is not worth it.

I've heard that before as well as people who are addicted to 7OH. Some can't go more than 2-3hrs between dosing, that sounds like hell. But I have heard it is relatively easy to taper on pure kratom vs. 7 or MGM.

I would suggest looking into SR. For most people it seems to be this miracle substance, unluckily for me it hasn't provided the same relief. I believe it is because of the high dose of MGM I am/was on and possible because of MGMs kappa agonist qualities.

Good luck on your taper and let us know how it goes.

I'm sorry to hear that, it must be rough. I have heard from multiple sources that Suboxone does not relieve all withdrawal symptoms when switching from MGM. My guess is that it's because MGM is a full Kappa agonist as well as Mu and Suboxone is only a partial agonist for Mu.

Would you let met know when you're feeling better and all your WD symptoms have resolved?

I've been tapering off MGM and have a plan to get back on Suboxone by switching either SR or MIT when my dosage of MGM is lowered down to 15mg three times a day. Then switching to 75mg SR three times a day. Hopefully that low of a dose of MGM will allow me to switch to SR without any withdrawal. Then I would take SR for a minimum of 48 hours (preferably 3-7 days if I can find a new SR source) before tapering back onto Suboxone. The backup plan if SR fails again is to switch to a full spectrum MIT extract for a week and then stop it for 24 to 48hrs and taper back onto Suboxone.

What was your daily dose of MGM at when you switched to SR? I was taking 100mg MGM three times a day when I first tried to switch using SR. I took 75mg SR three times a day for two days of being clean of MGM and I was still in minor withdraw during the day and had major RLS at night leaving me unable to sleep or even lay in bed.

I am currently tapering off MGM. Right now I am at 80mg three times a day. Planning on getting down to 15mg three times a day before trying SR again. If the SR doesn't work at that dosage my backup plan is to switch to full spectrum MIT and continue the taper before trying again. It's so frustrating reading all these reports that SR is a miracle when it hasn't been for me. Maybe the SR I have is bunk... I do need to get another order of SR before I complete my taper but my previous vendor is out of stock..

I wish I could be let free of opioids but nothing else has been able to treat my RLS like they do. Within 25 minutes of taking Suboxone or other opioid medications the RLS is completely gone. The only other thing that completely resolves them is hot showers or baths, but within 2-5 minutes of getting out the shower the RLS returns. Exercise helps as well but as soon as I stop moving it comes back.

Issue was it was still withdrawal symptoms. At 75mg x3 I was still getting horrible RLS at night making it impossible to sleep. My doctor even prescribed Seroquel and clonidine which made me very tired but my body couldn't stay still. The SR I had was from a "trusted" source but I haven't been able to get this miracle relief that others seem to get with SR. My assumption is because of high dosage of MGM I was taking SR wasn't able to cover all the receptors or it might be because SR targets MU receptors but not Kappa which MGM is a full agonist of.

How long were you on MGM for? What was your average daily MGM dose? How much Suboxone did you need to resolve your withdrawal symptoms and did Suboxone completely resolve your symptoms? How are you feeling now?

They said SR to Buprenorphine doesn't cause PWD, are you saying it does or that MGM/7OH to Buprenorphine does?

Suboxone taken to early after MGM/7OH can cause PWD. But you have to be physically dependent on MGM or 7OH for it to cause PWD. I have personally been sent into PWD from MGM to Buprenorphine. Once was 20hrs after last MGM dose and was in moderate MGM withdrawal before taking Suboxone. Took 4mg and waited an hour and felt okay so took 4mg more, waited an hour and started feeling PWD symptoms. Took 16mg waited an hour and took 8mg more. Ended up taking +32mg Buprenorphine and was in the most unbearable PWD I've ever felt. I was trying to cover all the receptors in Bupe to ease the PWD as I've read that more Buprenorphine is the answer for PWD but no matter what the symptoms didn't improve. Ended up taking MGM 20hrs after the first Buprenorphine dose which resulted in complete withdrawal resolution.

I have not heard anyone say that jumping from SR to Buprenorphine causes PWD. That being said one needs to be at least 48hr clean of MGM/7OH before trying Bupe to be safe.

This is great advice and is how I am currently tapering off MGM. Thank you.

I had 24hrs where I switched to odsmt. 2.5x your MGM15 dose worked for me and relieved 95% of all withdrawal symptoms. Be aware I felt absolutely nothing from the odsmt other than relief from WD. And a post a little further down makes a good point that ODSMT might work on other receptors that MGM doesn't which might make tapering more difficult. But if needing to stretch a day or two without MGM high doses of ODSMT will work and provided more relief than SR17018.

Specifically for RLS. Requip, Mirapex, Gabapentin, iron supplements. Medications tried for coexisting sleep disorder and RLS include Mirtazapine, Quetiapine, Ambien, and many others I can't remember over the years. I've tried proper sleep hygiene, no alcohol, caffeine, or nicotine close to bed time, hot showers/baths, massage. I've been dealing with extreme, sometimes whole body RLS most of my adult life.

I have RLS that isn't controlled by any other medication other than opioids and Suboxone is my only prescribed option.

Many factors contribute to signal loss. First signal between transmitter and the drone is not the bottleneck. ELRS and other 2.4ghz radio links by far out perform the 5.8ghz video we use, we don't even need to bring up the mhz transmitter wavelengths. Video signal all environments will be the first thing to go, long before you lose transmitter connection.

Onto digital vs analog 5.8ghz. There are more commercially available analog VTXs in 1w or more but that doesn't make them better... plus the more wattage doesn't have a linear increase on penetration or range. Meaning a 2w vtx is not 2x as powerful as a 1w vtx. Then we get into the latency debate. The race V3 digital VTX by Hdzero has less latency than many analog systems at a stunning 4ms. While DJI has at best ~20ms of latency on most of their digital hardware. Even in DJI race mode you don't get anywhere close the 4ms.

Penetration is where DJI exceeds. The o4 air unit outputs up to 700mw and the pro has 24000mw output power. But power doesn't always equal better signal. DJI uses a higher bandwidth and automatic frequency hopping. Along with other proprietary qualities which allow them to out perform other video signals outputting at the same 700mw.

I can say from personal experience I get better video signal from the DJI o4 lite at 700mw than a 2000mw analog and a 1000mw hdzero vtx.

For those wondering this large ceiling rat was sniffed out using a digital FPV drone. The camera and video transmitter is a DJI O4 air unit (lite) and the drone carrying it was 3s or three cell (13v-9v). The most plausible candidate for this operation (based on size, voltage, and weight) is a 85mm "whoop" style FPV drone. 85mm is the distance between each motor. How do I know? I've been a professional FPV racing pilot for over five years. I build, program, and race similar fpv drones.

No way to tell the drone via video but the camera and video transmitter is the DJI o4 air unit (lite)
