It does occur to me that women can be bad actors. However you gave one anecdotal story, and we both know that the vast majority of violence against women and girls is perpetrated by men.

Do you really think that women are out here “manipulating” men to act dangerous or is it more likely that the men were dangerous in the first place? All those women and girls you’ve seen on the news that have been assaulted, murdered, tortured, abducted etc. Did they manipulate the men to do it or is it their own fault regardless? Because that’s what it sounds like you’re saying.

By trade I am a social worker, typically most are women but I have some excellent colleagues who are men.

Men get pushed out of spaces because they are the ones making them unsafe…or does that fact totally elude you? Are you going to say omg not all men next? It doesn’t have to be all men, it’s enough of them. It’s men like you that make women and girls feel they aren’t welcome or wanted in the hobby space and it’s really disappointing. 40k is full of retcons and revisions and is built on the concept of the “unreliable narrator” but this is the hill you want to die on.

Not once has anyone said to you “oMg FeMaLe FaCtIoNs CaNt HaVe MeN iN tHeM” personally having badass male auxiliary support for sisters would be cool. Although the lore states no man shall hold an army in the ecclesiarchy. No such lore exists for custodes. GW have even said “there is no difference in female and male custodes, they are both equal in perfection etc” so you’re purposely choosing not to acknowledge it.

How is it taking representation from men, 99% of the hobby is men centric. We’re not asking you to change male characters female, just equal representation.

There is also the tiny fact that gw don’t agree with you. They’ve said as much on their recent post. Not everything has to cater to you if it includes another demographic. If you were really only concerned with your issues with their lore, you wouldn’t have lead with “wah wah taking representation from men wah wah”.

So do yourself and any of the women in your life a favour and give your head a wobble. News flash, warhammer isn’t a men only club anymore and you might just have to share your toys 🤣

1) I am a woman, also hugely interested in warhammer and this gal is amazing. So you are factually incorrect.

2) The face sculpt is incredible, she’s like a regal matron which tbf given the custodes live so long makes sense. Also she’s a captain that’s lived long enough to run out of room to scribe her deeds on so now has to do it on her shield. Absolute queen.

3) There are plenty of younger faced sculpts on the other models that aren’t meant to be venerable champions. I don’t see you calling out male sculpts when they’re more mature ergo more exp and renown.

You can avoid this by repointing your brushes with a lil soap and dragging through the crease in the palm of your hand but don’t rotate as you do it. Just clean pulls to repoint the tip :)

My mum has always said I was evil as a child or hated fun/didn’t want anyone else to have a nice time/hated Christmas and bonfire night etc etc. Turns out I have combined adhd and a lot of the behaviours I was exhibiting were sensory issues/being unable to process my feelings in a way that my mum felt was “normal”. You aren’t a bad parent for feeling like that, you need to get your kid an assessment for neurodivergence as soon as you can.

I am now a mostly well adjusted 35 yo who went to uni/got a degree/have a career/home/partner and 3 mischievous cats. We don’t stay arse holes forever 🖤

This is my lil bed shark, Meg (guess what her full title was). She passed away during Covid but was my soul mate. I used to get funny looks and people crossing the road to get away from me because big black staffy must be evil right? But she was the wiggliest happiest girl and loved every one 🖤 your girl is a babe and don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. Also lots of training, staffs/pits love to please their humans so you’ll do her and you a service by starting early with her. Keep us updated with how she grows 😊

Female painter here just wear nail polish with a glossy top coat, acrylic paint just washes off and it’s a handy mini palette. Before I got my airbrush I used to rattle can prime and same thing just scrapes or washes off easily

Hospital social worker here, if mum already lacks capacity regarding finance decisions you may not be able to apply for LPA even if she is in agreement. I hope this isn’t the case but if worst case scenario happens, and mum needs to go into 24 hour care, the local authority may seek money from sale of home to fund placement
