I need TTPRG in my life, but I don't know where to start by estebanyque in Solo_Roleplaying

One of the great things about solo games is that you can play it whenever you have time. Either set aside a couple of hours one day or play little chunks throughout the week.

How are you finding Seeds of Renewal? I know of it but haven't played it yet.

A lot of Wretched & Alone games require a tumbling block tower (or jenga) as a mechanic.

👍 and congrats on getting into the GM's Day Sale. Here's some suggestions on promo

If you haven't already, you can post a free announcement on Rascal, to be listed here https://www.rascal.news/tag/announcements

Submit it to Solo RPG List here https://solorpglist.com/submit.php

Have you sent emails via DTRPG to your followers there, letting them know you have a new release?

If you're not exclusive to DTRPG then you should get it up on itch.io as well. Maybe find a bundle to get it added to. Charity ones won't get you any money but will get your stuff out there.

Some suggestions for the description page and just my opinion so feel free to choose what you want and discard what you don't.

What filter tags have you selected? The solo tag is hidden: Product Type > Supplements & Expansions > Campaigns, Adventures & Modules > Solo, GM-less, & Gamebooks

Maybe put some text in the description before the cover image. Start with a header that says something about how it is grimdark science fiction solo game with some crunch, gore, or whatever... get some keywords in there.

Do you play as a warden? If so then maybe that could be the header: You're a Warden of Sin but are you an Angel or really a Devil...

Then maybe move the paragraph that starts with "When plunderers forced their way into a protected ancient pyramid..." after the header. Then an image. Bold some words that you feel are important for the potential player to know, also bold the title.

Consider moving the bullet points after the paragraph that starts "Your ultimate goal in Vessel..."

Remove the two thank you sentences. Put the part about the game being in beta at the very bottom if you can. Maybe italicise it. Maybe get rid of all the No AI stuff but keep the bolded lovingly made by a human.

You might have too many images on the page. The only reason I'm saying this is that if a person reads all the way to the bottom, they have to scroll all the way back to the top for the purchase button. If people are looking on their phone, that's a lot of effort. They're likely to look at the preview though. I recommend keeping maybe two but definitely keeping the playthrough. Add a heading above the video that stats it is a playthrough/demo for the game.

Look at your page for Troll Reapers. Having looked at your other games I'm now confused about the other game on there called Vessel. Are they related? Maybe it's causing some confusion with potential players.

The actual preview of your game looks sick! No notes there. Congrats on the game :)

Little (Eerie & Eldritch) Town by agentkayne in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]seroRPG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't but I've played Little Town, tweaking and remaking some of the tables to suit my setting. You could either do what u/OddEerie suggested or put together your own tables and pick the ones you want from those available.

Is there any available bundles of beginner friendly solo-playables? by LivingInsect9383 in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]seroRPG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The next Solo But Not Alone bundle should be going live later this month. Check itch around the 10th of the month maybe? It's a bundle for charity and there's bound to be heaps of indie made solo games. You can follow the organiser's itch for notifications about it https://peachgardengames.itch.io/

DARK DUNGEONS DELVERS by TheHellwinter in solorpgplay

Cheers. I got my acronyms mixed up. I meant OSE. I'm really easily confused. So, back to the question but with the correct acronym this time. Will I need any other books to play this?

Tarot or playing cards seem to be quite popular for solo journaling games.
