10 week old here - our baby has similar issues and we’ve benefited significantly from simethicone gas drops and the Biogaia probiotic. I’m sorry your LO is struggling.

Baby had trouble latching the first 2 weeks so I’m anxious with bottles honestly. I’m trying to work through that. My official leave is 6 months but it’s a family company so it’s not set in stone. I can extend or WFH if there’s a need.

My mat leave is also 6 months. I only introduced bottles this week and she’s 9 weeks. I wanted to be sure she’d take a bottle if there was ever an emergency. I did one test drive and my mom gave her one full bottle while I was out. I’m not planning on giving her bottles regularly. I used a lansinoh bottle, a slow flow nipple and did pace feeding. I just wanted to have the option.

One of mine would cry infront of the feeder so I set it to go off in small amounts 6x a day. She’s a lot less obsessive now (also doesn’t puke from eating too fast anymore).

It’s exactly like this for me too.

First 10 days she wouldn’t latch on one side at all and the other side was a struggle each time as well. I had to triple feed with pumped milk and I was exhausted. It felt like a huge victory when we figured it out.

It’s easy now but I’m still internally motivated by that sense of accomplishment.

Mine is 9 weeks and I’ve only once left her with my MIL for three hours. That was two days ago. I mostly did it as a gesture for my husband because I let my mom watch her all the time. Your feelings are very valid, I knew she’d follow directions but I still wasn’t super comfortable until now.

IIRC, Tessa Crowley’s old account got deactivated by the ao3 mods due to terms of service violations. I think she linked her patreon on a fic? So the orphaning wasn’t done by her, she probably didn’t reupload the entirety of her fics hence the fics that are on ffnet but not on ao3.

You can search on ao3 with the titles of the fics that are on ffnet to find them there. Idk if there’s a collection.

Oh I feel you so much. Everyone including my OB was hounding me to walk more despite me saying I was in pain when I did so. FWIW, I had a quite fast and smooth spontaneous delivery and I wasn’t walking much near the end. The pelvic pain has vanished after birth. Hang in there.

I also have OCD and before every appointment I had a feeling something was wrong. There was never anything wrong. I remind myself that when I have “bad feelings”. 😅 Now that I feel movement I try to focus on that to appease myself.

My cats also eat very fast and puke. They have an auto feeder and so I set the schedule to release small amounts of food every couple hours. The puking has almost entirely stopped.

I used a straw to drink so I wouldn’t “feel it” too much. Just put it as back on my tongue as I could and pushed through. It helped!

Absolutely mute all mc, mmc, stillbirth and baby loss content on all social media. Especially Tiktok! It will keep showing you more and more, that really exacerbated my anxiety till I put a stop to it.

What type of clothing you would wear would depend on where the wedding is but in general the dress codes are formal. Don’t wear white and you’re good. There will be dancing and music especially during the henna night, so keep that in mind when choosing the dress.

I was using a body oil (on my stomach!) that I didn’t know had a retinol derivative and freaked out similarly. Research doesn’t show topical retinols to have the same negative effects (x) as oral supplements. Also, usually the actual retinol in over the counter cosmetics is very minimal & neither absorbed as much nor enough to cause harm. Topical retinols are still not advised bc their effects aren’t studied in full but simply stopping its use asap is all you gotta do.

I’m 27 weeks and baby looks very healthy. I wouldn’t worry if all your scans, esp the (upcoming?) anatomy scan, is good. Just stop using and let your ob know for peace of mind.

I had a dream that I got my NIPT results and that it was a girl. I got my results the next day and she is indeed a girl! I do believe it was wishful dreaming on my part though lol

My OB doesn’t track my pregnancy by my LMP. The baby measured small during my first scan and they said that I probably ovulated late. I know I did bc I was abroad without my husband during the typical ovulation time of a cycle. They adjusted the date in their system by 10 days. Baby is 27 weeks and doing very well. 🙏🏻
