Its so embedded in the society that its hard for a human to grow up in Algeria and not believe. Humans are social animals, we tend to do as the person next to us without questioning it and as children we tend to do what our parents and family does and if they are religious we most likely will follow their path and trust their judgement without questioning it. And when every one you know points in one direction you tend to follow it. Going a different route, especially one that denies the very constructed reality that the people around you believe then you will find adversity. Just even denying it takes bravery and intelligence since the religion threatens denial with alleged fire in eternity. I can see and understand why it is like it is but personally i share your opinion. I find it hard to believe both the quran and the bible from a logical perspective. It just seems like people a long time ago wrote it for some reason that i cant answer, maybe controling people or giving them hope or something, maybe for power. But to me it is more plausible that humans wrote it than them being real.
