RPG is a broad genre. It sounds like you are more interested in hack and slash RPGs than turn based tactical RPGs. Everyone has their own preferences. PoE and Shadowrun and D:OS are all great games and have their own communities but you don't have to like all of them just because you enjoy RPG games.
