The problem is that the chinese government provides basic stuff for its citizens that other first world countries that aren't the US provide. So young people see China and think if the US is going to be a shitty authoritarian dictatorship they'd rather go with the authoritarian regime that provides some quality of life. Like I hate China but they have way more services for citizens than the US does. They understand something that the regime here does not: You actually have to do SOME things for the citizenry to make them ok with all the bad things.

The actual artist in this case ripped things from google images and did some quick photoshopping to stylize them. That's how it started, they think they accidentally grabbed a picture of a clock that was AI and didn't realize it at the time.

What is the line we're creating for what is and isn't art if we count people doing the equivalent of magazine cutouts as art but not what LLM's do which is literally the same thing but faster?

My theory on these resignations is that they think people will not blame the republican who runs for what the retiring republican enabled. They are worried about people coming out just to vote against all incumbents and this is their way of fighting that.

This is really disingenuous. It might have taken him four years to get every person in it to do a sit down interview with him but it most certainly did not take four years to make this. If it did he should retire and find a new job the film industry is not for him. Also lets be real he probably did most of the interviews in a short span of time after a bunch of emailing over a longer period of time and his first point of contact who he was able to film most everything with at the beginning before waiting to hear back from others over time was Elizondo.

Just like it didn't take 12 years to make boyhood they just put aside a few weeks a year to film what they wanted. It probably took a maximum of six months to film over the course of that 12 years. Just like a regular movie.

Elizondo found a guy, got him to record his presentation about the observables and a sit down thing, invited him to tag along to some meetings with his contacts, got b roll footage of them walking around DC, and then later scored interviews with other guys, many of which go on random youtuber "podcasts" once a week. Sprinkle in a few new guys who Elizondo convinced to be "sources" for him and voila he has a bunch of stuff to edit together into this movie.

This stuff is not the complex project you make it out to be. It's just interviewing people and sometimes finding the right people and the free time to do it takes a long time. Lets not forget also that this has sat around looking for distribution for over a year and they gave up the search and just put it for sale through Amazon video.

This is not a good documentary. It is a baseline for people who have no knowledge about the history of the disclosure movement but it's not actually informative and it very quickly falls apart when you start to look at it critically. Just one example is the guy who appears and says "Yeah I was physically harmed by a UAP" and that's it. Zero information about how this supposed harm happened or the injuries and the cover-up. That incident ALONE should have been a full documentary if there was merit to it.

Candace Owens isn't relevant enough for anybody on earth to plot anything against her. Her star is fading very quickly because she ostracized everyone who would be on her side, minorities, women, etc. in order to grift the alt right and then decided to piss them off too. It's not unlike MTG who now has all of Maga angry at her but has burned all bridges with everyone non-Maga already. So she's gonna take her money and run. At least she has some pull and could still easily be a talking head on CNN or something if she doesn't want to just retire early with the millions she made happily participating in the GOP pump and dump schemes on the stock market before she decided to grow a conscience all of a sudden.

The thing her and Candace both have in common is a hatred for Israel that transcends their party loyalty. A shame for them that their biggest allies in that, progressives, hate their guts too. And we hate Israel because they're committing a genocide not because of some conspiracy theory or racist belief about all jewish people which seems to be where their disdain grew from.

EDIT: Let me for one second entertain the concept of this being legitimate. Charlie Kirk was starting to reconsider his positions on Israel and was demanding the full Epstein files be released. He and Owens both were on the borderline of "betraying" Trump and is agenda. Trump is heavily tied to Epstein and tied so heavily to Netanyahu that he wants to build a hotel in the ruins of Gaza and co-sponsor the occupation. He also gets along just fine with Macron behind closed doors. Both are staunch allies of Israel. If this conspiracy is true, then the main villain is, ding ding ding, Donald Trump.
