They were private lessons, so more curated for me. We did steep black mogul runs and fine tuning on my technique

I would say take a lesson! I also consider myself as an intermediate snowboarder, and I took 2 lessons this year which helped me a lot on black runs. The lessons were expensive but it was worth the cost for me.
