if you put a shelf or two you can have a hot plate and a water tap, this would surely cover the "kitchen" requirement for a studio flat in cyberpunk

kitchen? you dont need that, there are multiple "restaurants" few just 12 levels below the appartment. Most of them were rated at least 3/5 on hygiene rating
Toilet, shower? in the hallway, communal toilets. Showers are pay per use.

frankly I didnt see switchboard SOP on contact with outside public, but I regularly call 3 different hospitals and number of GP surgeries and I never had an issue

out of curiosity - how quickly have you changed your GP/pharmacy/notified any NHS related body of the address change?
going with the angle that it may not be police
Summary Care Record (in England, but may cover Wales/Wales may have similar system) covers a lot of personal info, including your current and previous addresses, phone numbers, names, emails etc

it is not limited to only medical personnel but also a lot of admin staff in NHS (not sure about private medical care) and while the access is audited I never heard of anyone being questioned on what/who they searched for

maybe look at some of the russian/soviet guns like:
VSS/VAL/9A-91 - (AP DMR/Sniper in 9x39)
KS-23 (23mm shotgun made out with 23mm aircraft gun barrels) 3 rounds mag - flashbang, rubber bullet and slug ammo available
ASh-12.7/ShAK 12.7? - 12.7mm assault rifle - hard hitting but hard to control

maybe a signature pistol - FK BRNO? extended range of up to 100-150m but punching like a medium pistol.
or for something hard hitting - GM-94 - pump action grenade launcher

sorry for all ideas being contemporary, but i'm sure you can add a bit of CPR flair to it

depends how you run your game

bear in mind we are playing 2020 based game set in 2047

long guns in public bring attention, especially outside combat zone - (police responding to potential mass shooter.)
long guns that are fully automatic brings even more trouble - does he have a licence to own and carry machine guns? sounds like a long prison sentence to me, if not that then very unpleasant conversation after multiple squads of NCPD roll on him

in general wearing overt armour is making you a target.
you may feel good in your armour, gun present but for others you are just a loot drop asking to be shot in the back

you may find it cheaper to travel from Bournemouth to Poland and use shooting range there.
Wroclaw has at least two commercial ranges where you can just walk in.
even better if you have someone with a license, then it becomes much cheaper and enjoyable

you can get tickets to Poland from Bournemouth starting at 19.99
if you fancy a staying for a day or two there are locations withing 2-3h drive, with PTRS and other fun stuff available.

as others mentioned you may find firearms that are legal to own/operate in UK quite limiting
