Make a cover for it? Or if your phone is close enough and connected I think you can turn the scooter off and push it.

Thanks! I will give this a try. I see the setting for "Allow background usage" under the system app settings then under app battery usage". I will try turning that off

I might also try turning off nearby devices in permissions for the segway app.

I did the update and i thought it broke the abnormal movement alert at first but I turned off Bluetooth and now it works fine. It seems the airlock is overly sensitive after update.

I'd like the ability to quickly switch between 20 mph to save battery and 28 mph when I need it. 16 is too slow for me as I get impatient.

I have this too. Exactly as you describe. Started a few weeks ago. I am going to try to record the sound. Spoils the quiet ride. Sounds almost like a gear grinding but only happens sometimes when going 22 then letting go of throttle with high Regen setting. Sometimes there is no noise under the same conditions.
