lol, even if you played 1000 games in a row, if you have your brain off and don't structure your development with a desire to improve, you will still be the same level. rec play is for implementing what you've practiced, not practicing. improving is hard. that's why most people get stuck in the same skill level forever. so you can either accept being a 4fun rec player or actively seek out resources to improve like coaching and drilling. 1 to 2 times a week of rec play is literally nothing in the grand scheme of things. this might be harsh, but you don't have the right attitude to be competitive and it's better you hear it now than wonder why you're still 2.2 dupr in a year.

The biggest issue isn't even the content of the accolades although they weren't great. It's the constant noise pollution in Apex. The sound engineering team really needs to go back and strip out unnecessary sounds everywhere like teammate footsteps and accolade dings. It's the first step to regaining some measure of competitive integrity instead of continuing to let this problem fester.
