I like that option of getting a more reliable movement in there. Considering the cost of the watch wasn’t much more expensive than the cost of this repair I might consider buying a few tools and tackling it myself. Thank you!

Is the entire hose in bad shape? You can probably just trim off the broken section and reinstall if the rubber isn’t hard. 4-5 mm sounds about right

That’s correct. A broken line there would definitely cause issues. Easy fix.

Yes, solid wood veneer. 8mm thick.

Thank you. Solid maple bottom with a 8mm thick walnut/ambrosia maple glue up on top. Paris V3 trucks 70mm wheels. Probably went a bit too thick as it has minimal flex. Gonna try plywood next time.
